My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Beach House Inn in mid-July. We stayed in the Bay Room (private deck, lower level) and then the Dunes Room (upstairs, shared deck). Both rooms were clean, comfortable, with very nice furniture and decor. Bathrooms had tubs and showers. There was plenty of room for our things throughout the room, and... More

Great place, relaxing, good breakfasts, and peaceful. We are in the Seaview Cottage, with two large beds, two couches, a desk inside and a table outside on a deck. For two friends on a vacation and writing retreat this is perfect -- good spaces to get work done, and good location to explore PEI from. Brenda and Gary have had... More

We stayed in the Lighthouse Cottage which has a great view of the water and a working lighthouse. There were 2 bedrooms, a little sitting area, a nice bathroom and a deck with gas grill. It was too cold for us to be outside but we did prepare several meals in the cottage. The location is just outstanding. We traveled... More

In my last review of the Beach House Inn, I said we would return, and we did! My husband and I just finished a one week visit at the Beach House Inn and we had a wonderful time again. Brenda and Gary are very gracious hosts and go out of their way to make sure that we were enjoying our... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in August. We stayed in the Islander cottage and absolutely loved it. We enjoyed having our own, private cottage. The cottage was cute, comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two people. The mini-fridge and the ceiling fan were really nice to have. The property is just a short walk to a... More

The Beach House Inn was a wonderful place to stay after doing all the touristy attractions in Cavendish. I wanted to be away from the busy hub. It is about 20 minutes from Cavendish. Gary and Brenda were great hosts. Brenda's breakfasts were amazing, and Gary has many wonderful stories to share. The inn is about a 5 minute walk... More

Beach House is at the end of a quiet road, a short walk to the beach. The beach has few other people. If you want to be quiet and a little isolated, this is it. Beautiful views of sea and fields, even a lighthouse. Delicious full hot breakfast is served in a solarium, with newspaper. Room and bed spacious and... More

The Beach House Inn was an excellent choice! As an Anne of Green Gables fan, I wanted my first trip to Prince Edward Island to be memorable and for my location to be close to the Cavendish area. When I found Beach House Inn I knew immediately this place was for us. It was our honeymoon and Brenda and Gary... More

This spot will always be a favorite for us. Our first three nights on the island (having never been to PEI before) couldn't have been in a better spot. We were able to stay in the Islander cottage with our well-behaved dog and found it very soothing, cozy, and the bed was comfortable. The setting has it all - endless... More

July 2015. We were surprised because when reserved over the phone, we could find no good photos of the place, and thought it might be dumpy. We couldn't believe this place, well furnished with large common rooms, a computer room, and a lovely breakfast room with east facing windows looking out at farmland and the sea. Lots of antiques, prints,... More
