Stayed for five nights mid March with my wife. The Quinto is a very special place with the hosts hospitality top of the list. Great accomodation, surroundings and a breakfast to keep you highly nourished for a tough touristy day in perhaps relatively nearby Lisbon. In fact it was a relief to get out of town each evening to the...

Really well looked after from the moment we landed (arranged pickup from the airport for us too) to the moment we left. Beautiful place, great food and great hosts! Pleasant experience well had and would thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking about booking this place.

We spent 5 nights at this Quinta and were extremely impressed by the hospitality shown by the owners Tony and Penny. It was like a home away from home. From waking up in the morning fresh and ready for the day staring at the natural beauty that surrounded us. The room was extremely well kept and I loved the way...

We spent three nights at Quinta do Scoto during October half term. Tony and Penny could not have been more hospitable or helpful. From sorting out a misunderstanding with our train tickets when we arrived at the local station, to providing lifts to and from the station as required, to a guided tour of the local amenities, we could not...

Tony and Penny were very hospitable and showed me how it all worked. Room was massive and just had to step out of the door for a quick swim, little cold at 19c but was refreshing. Great job on restoring the Quinta. Regarding location it's not set in a stunning area but relatively easy to get everywhere. Short walk to...

Quinta do Scoto is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The beautifully remodeled rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Our children loved being able to chase two dogs, three chickens and two horses on the property. The location is perfect for visiting Sintra or Lisbon...it's in a nice, quiet area without having to be jammed in...

Quinta do Scoto is a beautifully restored guest house with comfortable, spacious and very clean accommodations. Tony and Penny have worked hard to share this unique home with others, and they truly wanted our experience with them to be perfect. From the complimentary wine, drinks and fruit that greeted us, to the helpful advice on sightseeing in this area, to...

Quinta do Scoto is beautifully restored. The breakfast area has blue tiled landscape decoration that was original. The future is 150 years old! It is a bargain for such a beautiful and historical place. We loved our stay in Quinta do Scoto!

Tony and Penny work hard to provide a high quality stay for their guests, and it shows. First class accommodation - enormous bedroom with ensuite bath and shower - and a French window opening on to the large swimming pool; generous breakfasts in the well restored old quinta; free local lifts whenever we needed them; and lots of advice on...
