Super charming hotel located on the flank of a mountain. (Last 4K are on gravel road, so beware with the kind of car your coming with) Great views, ideal to walk/hike. Only the cows are your neighbors. Restaurant is also super. Great spa. Friendly staff. Higly recommended. Try to have a room in the main building, otherwise you might have... More

I travelled with my family including my wife, mom and our 6 year old boy. The location is breath taking, you really feel to be inside the mountains with a spectacular view of the Alps. Our two nights short vacation could have been just perfect if the interaction and attention of the staff in particular in Food and Beverage was... More

I booked this hotel as it looked quirky; it would be exciting to stay 3km up a mountain and get there and back by skidoo. The spa an pool looked good and the rooms were rustic and unique. Mascognaz if not like a tradional hotel it is a mountain village. There are 2 parts of the village the main reception;... More

This year, we visted Hotellerie de Macognaz for the second time. The atmosphere was, as usual, wonderful and warm. We were very pleased with the caring, friendly and very professional service. This is true for he lovely Luiselle in the reception, for Mr Bergomi and his team in the restaurant and for everyone else at the hotel. In the restaurant,... More

This was our second visit to the charming village of Mascognaz. The setting is beautiful and romantic, the restoration is authentic with a modern, luxurious twist. The rooms are individual and beautifully finished. Each chalet is unique so a call to the very helpful Luisella to discuss your requirements will help ensure you get the right room in the right... My fiancé took me to the restaurant which was excellent. We were picked up by a 4x4 and taken up into the mountain on a path about 3 km away. We ate at the restaurant and our waiter, Ettore, was absolutely great! Between wine and food recommendations, he really helped to make the experience unforgettable. The food was amazing and... More

Mascognaz is a mountain village, mostly restored but full of authentic old charm. The location is wonderful and the hotellerie has a wonderful atmosphere to it. The style concept works very well, and we loved our modern-rustic suite. Full score for charm and comfort. Service staff was friendly both at reception and in the restaurant. The restaurant was efficient, staff... More

Charming little hotel created from old farm buildings and nestled in a spot high up the mountain, above the ski resort of Champoluc. Access only by caterpillar track land rovers - very exciting! A really beautiful place. Great food. Service a little disjointed - front of house team could be much warmer. Restaurant team are excellent.

we had great expectations but we were disapponted by the experience. location is great but when roads are with ice it can beom a bit of a nightmare, you need to walk 10 minutes through icy roads just to go for dinner or to eat something. when asked about bringing food to the room the answer was" we don't do... Thank you for your comments, its a pity you did not appreciate our gem away from it all, we hope you will try it again maybe asking for a Lo Miete room avoiding you all the paths through the snow and ice. Best regards. More
