Galinhos is a small city, we loved it!! . This is probably the best hotel in town as there are not many options. Poor breakfast. It needs to be improved. Lots of flies flying all over the food. Good hotel, we stayed at the chalé ( the separate house), it was comfy. Salubrious water in the sink (I guess the entires city is like this) however, they leave bottles of mineral water for oral hygiene. Nice pool great view. We recommend it.

Owner speaks several languages, room is large, service great and flexible, they keep investing to even further improve. there is also a small pool although pousada is right on the beach. glad we stayed there one night. Only negative point is the salty taste of water in the shower but this is an issue all hotels have. I can recommend the pousada.

Nós fomos pra relaxar no final do ano.

----

We went there to relax during new year's eve holiday.
The location is great, by the river. If you don't have much luggage, you can easily reach the pousada walking from the port.
The atmosphere was very quiet and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was good, but we had the same food during the whole staying.
The negative point is the salty water to take a bath and wash the teeth. If you want to have fresh water, you have to buy a 20L bottle.

Arriving there is already a fantastic journey, specially if you go by boat, carriage ride from dock to hotel is memorable. Once at the hotel, the peace and tranquility set in. Lovely views, friendly staff. The pool area is peaceful and very spacious .. well worth the visit!

I honestly wasn't expecting this place to be so charming. You need to get a boat to cross to Galinhos, get a chariot (yes, horses and all to take you and your luggage) thru the sandy "streets"... My husband was skeptical as soon as he saw the chariots and the lack of streets, he had very low expectations. However, this hotel is beautiful, beautiful views of the ocean, the beach, the gazebos... It was a very pleasant surprise. François, the owner, is such an amazing host, accommodating and friendly. The hotel helps with coordinating the local tours or calling the Uber Jegues. 😁 We had a great time and ww will definitely be back.

Jr took us fishing on the river then delivered out catch right to the restaurant where it was prepared for our dinner. The staff is friendly and speaks some french/spanish/english. The pool is a great place to unwind.

Very nice hotel, next to river/beach/sea water. Very windy, paradise for kite surfers, hotel is quite protected from wind though

Room very basic but spacious, very comfy bed, fresh water has a bit of salt in it, but no worries, you are at the beach right?

Dinner with very good food price ok I guess, didn't eat anywhere else, stayed only one night. BREAKFAST very rich, all fresh, great.

Staff very friendly and helpful.

Galinhos is a sleepy town, beach nice but windy, kite surfers must go.

Ask for Patricio, to take you on a buggy tour to the sand dunes... Ask for the fresh oysters afterwards!

nice place on a spacious piece of land right on the beach. The rooms are big, all have a nice varanda with a hammock. There is pleanty of hot water, There is a pleasant pool and several shady places where you can sit. have a nice drink, read, relax, enjoy company.
The owners are very pleasant, friendly staff, very helpfull in organizing day trips. The musical background at the restaurant and lounging area is extremely pleasant. Decoration is simple but very tastefull. Compared with other places in Galinhos this pousada has plenty of space and open areas. You can walk right out onto the beach and go for pleasant strolls.
Surely a place to come back to.
