Let's start with the restaurant: Amazing food - a blend of local cuisine and international dishes in very generous portions. Everything home made to the highest quality. Perfect for the whole family - everyone can find several things on the menu. We had mussels in a great sauce, one of the best variants we have tried. The hotel - has... More

Best restaurant in Juodkrante. You have to try local fresh pike perch! Together with local beer, preferred Memel beer, is great way to test the Curonian split culture. And also a cakes. They are famous in that too. Ask waitress for a fresh one.

It was really nice and cosy atmosphere in Juodasis Kalnas. At first we the only costumers and the lady that worked were was really helpfull to choose what to eat. Portions were way too big. And some of the dishes a bit too greasy. But still it was nice.

Despite being a very nicely furnished hotel, the staff are very juvenile and unprofessional. It felt as if a hotel was run by a bunch of teenagers. Constantly on smartphones, they give the impression that they would rather not be there.

Juodasis Kalnas restaurant was recommended by few persons for me, so decided to visit this time. The reviews which I got were all positive from previous year, yet it was major disappointment after I personally tried it. First of all. Customer service is below any average in restaurant. Sun was extremely nasty and nobody offered to modify shade tent (even... More

The rooms are cozy and comfortable with a great heating system. It gets nice and toasty which is great for coming out of the cold crispy outside after a day adventure. Little details are like super soft towels and really nicely shampoo and conditioner are a great little touch. They have a pretty flowery outdoor patio restaurant to eat at... More

Very nice building and patio. I had a cozy room on the first floor, nicely decorated, with bright colours. Excellent breakfast. Dinner was very nice too, I had a delicious pike perch ("sander"), expertly prepared and presented. If you decide to eat there à la carte, be aware however that their pricing policy is not too transparent. I was charged... More

We arrived late at night. The ownerand the whole staff waited for us in case we would have asked for a late dinner. Nice and very clean rooms. Very nice terrace with sun covers at each table. The room could be a bit larger, but that's the only issue we have. All in all, we fully recommend this hotel.

My room was very nicely decorated, but lacked a chair and table. So the only place you could sit, was on the bed. But I didn't mind this so much, because my room had a beautiful view of the Curonian Lagoon. Breakfast was only served from 9:00 am, but the breakfastbuffet was excellent with a lot of choice. Overall a... More
