Richard and Christine are probably the nicest hosts of any 'hotel' we have stayed in. Actually, this doesn't feel like a hotel, it really does feel like a family home - but on a grand scale. We were upgraded to an enormous room with wonderful views over the countryside - our hosts arranged for us to have that room because... More

We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend. The setting is so peaceful it is stunning. The owners, Christine and Richard are passionate about their hotel and this extends to the use of all local produce in the restaurant. The food is beautifully cooked and well presented without being pretentious. The wines, naturally, are all from the region as... More

it's the kind of no-nonsense place where you immediately feel at home. The owners make you feel comfortable, the service is outstanding, the food is great. The views are great with the Pyrénnées in the background. Tennis, swimming pool and walking pads in the surroundings.. What else;;?

Travelling north through france en route from spain to the channel we found ourselves looking for somewhere to bed down for the night. It being the begining of march many of the accomadation in the area were closed. We noticed a sign for the Chateau on the side of the road and followed the directions. It was dark and wet... More

We enjoyed a very nice room at Chateau de Projan. We were greated very nicely by the chef and his wife who manage the estate. The room was really spacious with high ceiling and great natural light. From the window you could contemplate the valley. Our lunch there was also delicious with so many homemade courses. Definitely a fantastic getaway... More

We had a fantastic time here recently. Richard and Christine made our time special and unique to us and took the time, effort and care to make sure that we felt welcome and looked after. They are thoughtful and respectful and speak good English and have the most gorgeous dog I have ever met. The rooms are large and different... More

I live very near Chateau de Projan, and often have many visitors who want to have a special dinner party or celebration in the region. So, for the last few years my friends have often used Chateau de Projan for unique events such as for the 90th birthday party of one of our Norwegian friends and for the wedding in... More

As a regular guest at the Chateau de Projan I can say that every time that I stay there I am always impressed by the hotel, as it offers such a comfortable stay, superb food and great wine. The hotel withdraws the best bits of the region that it is in, the views of the surrounding area are brilliant and... More

Stayed here for three nights as part of a walking trip through France. Christine & her husband are the loveliest hosts. They cooked wonderful meals for us and took care of us. The building is grand. The rooms are very comfortable and the views from every side of this perfectly positioned chateau are impressive to say the least. Theres even... More

The chateau has a fabulous view, the hosts are nice, friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is tranquil. There is a good pool area. The rooms are big and good. The missing star is due to the lack of air conditioning and the fact that wi-fi coverage is only a single spot and the speed is... More
