We stayed here mid December 2014. We had a garden room was comforetable and serviced daily. We loved the beach and the friendly local dogs that like to come on your kayak with you. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A special mention to Bianca she was fantastic. This was our second trip to raro but first time at...

We stayed at the Muri Beach club for about a week in November. I was a little uncertain about what to expect given there had been a handful of mixed reviews on this site, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. We had a beachfront room with excellent facilities. The lagoon is just wonderful and offers some great snorkelling. In...

My husband and I loved this hotel. Our room was lovely and well-serviced and staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Those who sat at the reception desk were happy to help and always with a ready smile. The large pool is tempting, but the beautiful lagoon on which the hotel is situated made the pool redundant in...

We spent three nights here on our way to New Zealand and it was certainly an idyllic spot. We had travelled overnight from Los Angeles, arriving very early in the morning. We were dismayed to find that we could not have our room until after 2 p.m unless we paid extra money. Apparently our travel agent should have told us...

We had our wedding there with 77 guests. It was a well catered and organized event. However the next day we discovered that a handful of people developed food poisoning directly after the wedding, including a pregnant guest who was hospitalized. Of the guests who were sick none of them were staying together and one was staying at the hotel....

The Muri Beach Club Hotel is, and will continue to be, responsive to compliments as well as less positive comments alike. We are very conscious of the health and safety of our Guests, and would not ever consider overlooking a report regarding alleged food poisoning. Consistent with this, your report was taken extremely seriously and dealt with immediately, whilst you...

We had a fantastic holiday here over the NZ labour weekend break. We have become big fans of Rarotonga because its so accessible from New Zealand, and because the whole island is so friendly and warm. I agree with the comments by others that the vibe is very different to Fiji mainly because you are so much more integrated into...

Had an awesome meal at Muri Beach Club Hotel's famous "Pig and Prawn night". The ribs just fell apart in your mouth. Very tender. Loved the calamari and Jalapeno aioli dip. Yum. Great service by Bianca.

The perfect place to relax and unwind. Located at the Muri beach lagoon. Very pleasant and helpful staff, so welcoming. Lovely clean and tidy hotel, the best breakfast and the best cocktails!! The Snickers bar cocktail could be my new favourite!! Beautiful pool and beachside dining. Loved the dogs that came to visit us on the beachside.

What a gorgeous place Rarotonga is!!! So restful and the people are very warm and friendly. You feel very safe even walking down the road late at night with very little light. The vibe is so different to Fiji - doesn't even compare in my view. Muri Beach Club Hotel would get a 6.5/10 from me. Pros The room was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Muri Beach Club Hotel's unequalled adult only resort location puts guests right at the heart of one of Rarotonga's most outstanding natural features - Muri Lagoon. The lagoon is the island's aquatic playground for superb and safe snorkelling and swimming. With other water sports like kayaking, wind surfing, kite surfing, sailing and glass-bottomed boat rides, there's always an opportunity to get out on the water and away from it all. With Motus (offshore islands) a stones throw away beckons you to enjoy its uninhabitated oasis..... ... more   less
