Hotel located in the middle of nature, surrounded by the Bucegi mountains. Very good services, kind and friendly staff. The room is small but clean and nicely furnished. The rooms have a balcony. Good breakfast and dinner, could be more diversified. The minibar in the room is free. Very good spa area. Free parking available for hotel guests. There is also an ice rink open all year Wi-fi signal is ok.

We were accommodated at Hotel Peștera a few weeks ago and we were really impressed. -First of all, the girls at the reception who greeted us were very nice and welcoming and offered to help us whenever we needed something. -The restaurant staff was also very friendly, and the food was very good and came to us quickly after we ordered. Breakfast and dinner are varied and very tasty. -The rooms are bright with a beautiful view, equipped with coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer, shampoo, body cream, etc. -The pool water was warm, perfect for kids.In the room I also found bathrobes and slippers for the pool. We will definitely be back!

I booked and paid for two persons, half board, 2 nights. A situation occurred on the morning of the first day so I went alone. I asked to receive the lunches instead of the breakfasts and the dinners for which I paid and they got my money. They refused and invoked a stupid bureaucracy about the agency. Actually, I paid for something, they did not deliver and even refused to replace the delivery. So much about their flexibility and customer-orientation. They are keen to round up their income amid these covid times and make use of any situation to gain more and deliver less. They even asked me to pay for one drink, although they had my money for two breakfasts and two dinners! Moreover, it is the second time when I receive a one-bed room instead of two-bed rooms. Well, they said all rooms had joint beds and that they could separate them - by 10 cm ! So do not go there with your boss / colleagues because you will sleep in the same bed. Only lovers accepted.

Hello Mr Bogdan, Thank you for being our guest. We are very sad by reading your review. For more flexibility it is better to book directly at the hotel, next time, because we have to respect some conditions and payments with the agency. We hope you enjoyed all our other services . Best regards.

I booked for 4 nights at the end of September. It was a great stay even it rained a lot. The hotel was very clean, the staff very nice and discrete. Buffet breakfast and dinner was tasty and various. The extra services a little pricy, but is normal for a hotel located in mountains. Overall it was a great stay and I recommend the location.

A cozy hotel in the mountains with warm people and clean and modern rooms. A lot of outdoor activties around, like Ialomicioara Cave or a lot of others, like climbing the mountains around or hiking. Concerning the food: is good but there it is place to improve the diversity for the breakfast and dinner menu. The a'la''carte menu for lunch is in the range of a 4**** hotel. Overall, in Moroeni area I consider it the best hotel in terms of value for money.

I was expecting a 4 stars experience with regard to breakfast and dinner also. Perhaps the best way to improve the experience they offer, would be to hire more personnel and provide them with a written checklist of the things they have to provide. And be less greedy, have more quality products... The food was most of the cases served (almost) cold, the coffee machine had troubles delivering its products due to various causes (milk finishing, water finishing, self-cleaning etc.), the food offer was not diverse, but not very tasty either. Staff is not very good with English skills (expect for the friendly foreign employees, from whitch the locals might learn from). The emails that were sent to me by the hotel contained pdf with non-functional links (I think the cancellation policies and the menu are quite important and one should be allowed to read them). The prices were not visible in a transparent manner (although the CoVid cautions, you could still make them visually available). There was always the sensation that if you do not arrive in time, you will not find a place at the tables. The cue forming every time where the food was being served reminded me of the Ceausescu regime. In the room, it sounds like the small rack/hanger communicates to the one in the other room - so it is loud when you want to rest, but your neighbor has other plans. The 4* of this hotel are not comparable to the other 4* I have visited in RO and abroad. The only reason I would stay again at this hotel is its positioning that is perfect for hiking routes and the view from the room towards Babele.
