Paid extra for 1 queen size bed, got two single beds with one king size mattress on top. The receptionist said that they don't have any bigger beds in the hotel (so we have been tricked to pay more for something but we have got something else). The breakfast buffet was small. We went for an early dinner and ordered from the menu. Everything was cold! We asked why is that, they said they don't know as the food was cooked now. Impossible! Swimming pool was cold and salty, the waterfall of the swimming pool as advertised was not working. Sauna was turned off. We had to ask to turn it on and waited over an hour for that to happen (after an hour it was hot but not as it should). You need googles for the jacuzzi as the amount of chlorine will make you cry, also breathing that amount of chlorine was nearly impossible. In the description of the hotel they stated that near them there is a telecabina that takes you to Babele and Sfinx. What they didn't say is that it is not working for over a year and a half.
Staff ok. Hotel clean. Nice location.
Located inside the Bucegi plateau in a natural reservation part of the Carpathian mountains. Views are stunning from the hotel and around. 5 minutes walk to the Pestera monastery and 15 minutes walk to Ialomita cave. The monastery and the cave are connected and have a very interesting history. If you want to get to Babele and Sfinx be ready for a hike as the telecabina is not working for over a year and a half or find out if it works before placing the booking. Be prepared to go and stay there, as if you want to go up and down to Sinaia it will be a mission as most of the road is in very bad condition (we lost around 8h in 5 days to go up and down as Sinaia is very interesting and alive).

I was expecting a 4 stars experience with regard to breakfast and dinner also. Perhaps the best way to improve the experience they offer, would be to hire more personnel and provide them with a written checklist of the things they have to provide. And be less greedy, have more quality products...
The food was most of the cases served (almost) cold, the coffee machine had troubles delivering its products due to various causes (milk finishing, water finishing, self-cleaning etc.), the food offer was not diverse, but not very tasty either. Staff is not very good with English skills (expect for the friendly foreign employees, from whitch the locals might learn from). The emails that were sent to me by the hotel contained pdf with non-functional links (I think the cancellation policies and the menu are quite important and one should be allowed to read them). The prices were not visible in a transparent manner (although the CoVid cautions, you could still make them visually available). There was always the sensation that if you do not arrive in time, you will not find a place at the tables. The cue forming every time where the food was being served reminded me of the Ceausescu regime. In the room, it sounds like the small rack/hanger communicates to the one in the other room - so it is loud when you want to rest, but your neighbor has other plans.
The 4* of this hotel are not comparable to the other 4* I have visited in RO and abroad. The only reason I would stay again at this hotel is its positioning that is perfect for hiking routes and the view from the room towards Babele.

I would like to mention that this hotel has a great location, magnificent views, beautiful rooms, access to the free swimming pool.
However I booked 3 half board rooms the food was ok, just because I always found little for a full hotel, the waiters at some of them, but the worst one disappointed us on the first day the reception because a room was booked with dog (pocket bison) and although confirmed with the animal we were told that the policy was changed in the meantime, so we were not notified.
We were told not to take him out of the room and the next day we were approached by the same receptionist but this time rude and on the bush as we went down with the dog in his arms.

A cozy hotel in the mountains with warm people and clean and modern rooms. A lot of outdoor activties around, like Ialomicioara Cave or a lot of others, like climbing the mountains around or hiking.
Concerning the food: is good but there it is place to improve the diversity for the breakfast and dinner menu. The a'la''carte menu for lunch is in the range of a 4**** hotel.
Overall, in Moroeni area I consider it the best hotel in terms of value for money.

The hotel is very nice, clean, the staff is very friendly. The only problem is the food, very poor quality and bad taste. The pizza and pasta is with ketchup :(
High prices for the food offered, no many options.
We will comeback for sure but hope for better food.

I booked for 4 nights at the end of September. It was a great stay even it rained a lot. The hotel was very clean, the staff very nice and discrete. Buffet breakfast and dinner was tasty and various. The extra services a little pricy, but is normal for a hotel located in mountains. Overall it was a great stay and I recommend the location.
