Pros: all rooms have a view of Mt Fuji, hot springs bath is a wonderful and relaxing experience, plenty of outlets for recharging electronics, toilet separate from shower. Rooms are simple but roomy and sufficient for a one or two day stay. The gift shop has some nice souvenirs. Cons: The buffet. Also only one pillow per bed.

We had a lovely room overlooking the lake and the mountain. The lake was at it's photographic best, but Mount Fuji was playing "hidey" under clouds, which was a bit disappointing - can't control the weather! Our room was spacious, and there was a separate toilet room, which was the first we had found in Japan. The shower was good... More

Pros: View of Mt Fuji (if it's a clear day) right across from the lake. Has Onsen (public bath). Cons: Rooms are old and look dingy (although pretty big with couch area) bathroom looks like the toilet was a previous closet and the shower is so small I felt like I was suffocating in there. Buffet was gross and really... More

Our room was very dark as the lighting was so poor. Most depressing. Worst shower I have ever seen Bathroom toiletries were minimal. Some would call the restaurant a buffet I would call it worse than a school dining canteen. We were ushered through at pace as the next group were waiting behind us The food was very poor and... Stayed here for one night comfortable but a basic hotel but the view from my room balcony over looking the lake and Mount Fuji was spectacular did not make use of the spring bath but the option was there. Restaurant was a bit basic but the food was good .

We stayed at this property as part of our Nexus tour. The views over the lake and towards Mt Fuji were excellent. The room was spacious with plenty of room and air conditioning that was effective. Our dinner and breakfast were provided as part of our trip. The buffet dinner hot food was cold. It wasn't until after I had... More

Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Hotel was used by many large groups during my stay and dining room is very cafeteria like, however we were still looked after very well. Our thanks to all the staff

We stayed here for one night whilst on tour. The rooms are tired but clean but the view was fantastic! The hot spring bath was disappointing. Dinner was terrible! It was the worst meal we had in Japan. Breakfast was not any better. If I was to return to this area, I would definitely look around for better accommodation.

A bit old hotel but with a nice view of Fujisan from all rooms. Onsen was a bit small with no view of Fujisan. Room was also small particularly the bathroom. Food was ok. Hotel was noisy with group tour.

Stayed one night on tour, never again even if they offered free accommodation Prime real estate facing lake and Mt Fuji with great reflective photo opportunities if you got assigned a front room. Huge opportunity for someone with vision and good hospitality skills. The best thing that could happen to this place is demolition and replacement with a building with... More
