This was one of the only places available near kawagujiko when we booked. Although very expensive it was definitely worth paying. We ended upgrading our room for a reasonable price and got unlimited access to the spa included (which was great because otherwise it was expensive to use often). The village room we stayed in was huge and had magnificent... More

Great views of Fujisan from the restaurant. Large rooms in unique style in the village. Very peaceful. Underfloor heating. Has laundromat on site. You really need a car to make it easy, but there is a shuttle that seemed to work well. Decor a bit tired, but seemed to be renovating. Meals adequate but not much variation over the three... More

This resort sits near the base of Mt Fuji, but it is a little out of town so you need decent transport to get there. It seems as though it is very much a summer place with pool's and golf. Some areas of the resort were closed due to it being spring (April) and so we could not access all... More

A very old hotel, need some refurbishment to make it new. Room size is unexpectedly small for a resort type hotel. Every other sport equipment, including bikes are for rental. However, the surrounding Fuji area is still very attractive and charming, so the management should really consider to renovate it and make it a more brand new hotel look.

Pros: serene mountain setting full of beautiful tall trees, spacious rooms, tiny but delightful outdoor bath (spa Onsen),big pool, and other amenities making it a fun kid friendly destination. Lovely free concert the evening we stayed with kid friendly music. Cons: every time you breathe you get charged and be careful about the misleading descriptions. WebSite said table tennis rackets,... Perfect 2 nights! In the middle of the woods, a little outside town but the rooms are great. We stayed in a bungalow with 2 floors, lots of windows and plenty of room. When you open your curtains, Fuji is right there! Did not see the onsen, but they have them. Also some trails to walk on and mini golf.... More

We stayed in a villa, which was actually pretty nice. A hotel attendant was helpful and spoke English and helped us to our room. We had two floors a nice bathroom, an area outside that looks like it should have been an onsen but was covered in pine needles, the bed was comfortable but that's the only thing that we... More

Very inexpensive hotel with resort facilities in the five lakes area of Mt Fuji. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The quadruple room is very good value and the apartment is rather spacious with two bedrooms. However, the hotel is located about 10 mins drive from Kawaguchiko station, so self transport is recommended. You can save ¥500 each day if... More
