The staff was friendly that helped me alot. The room was big enough but yet this was a aged hotel, so dont estimated to get a modern or fancy room. the room was clean and the view of mt fuji can be amazing from the room. Views from the highest floor of the hotel(observation desk) will be more stunning! Highly...

Thank you for your stay at Fuji View Hotel and for your feedback. As you mentioned in your review, the view of Mount Fuji is one of precious things for our hotel. Furthermore, winter time is the best season for seeing the mountain due to the stable weather. Since the hotel also has a big garden about 100,000 square meter...

Good hotel with some rooms have the view of Fuji M. With good hot spring and very close to the 河口湖. Not many restaurants around the hotel and would suggest visitors to go to restaurants around Fuji playground.

Thank you for staying at Fuji View Hotel. As you mentioned in your comment, the hotel is located in between Mount Fuji and Kawaguchiko Lake. We also have a big garden about 100,000 square meter which has so many flowers and trees. Therefore, our guests would see Mount Fuji and season's flowers and take a walk to the lake. Regarding...

The room was clean and cozy with a lot of space and facilities in it. The windows looked over the beautiful lake Kawaguchi. Some other good points were the breakfast and the onsen in the hotel. The only things not very satisfactory were the front desk service (they couldn't help us for several requests) and the wifi connection that did...

My husband and I booked Fuji View Hotel for a night of our stay at the Fuji Five Lakes region. The overall experience was disappointing. First, the room was dated and not at all like the pictures. The carpet was worn and stained in spots, making the whole room feel dirty (even though it was clean). We got a room...

Basic room for the price-- and the reason: you are paying for the amazing view of Mt Fuji from the Hotel. The hotel is within a stone throw's reach of Lake Kawaguchiko. When we first booked we weren't quite sure; but it seemed like a decent place to stay. After spending the day at the hotel and around Lake Kawaguchiko;...

Thank you very much for staying at Fuji View Hotel. As you mentioned in your comment, the view of Mount Fuji is the most precious thing at the hotel. Please come and visit our hotel again in the other season, such as mid April, as the cherry blossoms are blooming at the hotel's garden. Sincerely, General Manager

Staff is nice and polite. But room is out-dated. The location has a great view of Mt. Fuji but don't expect to see it over the lake. It's not close to any convenience stores at all - you'll need a ride to and from Kawaguchiko station but they do have a free shuttle service which can be helpful but it...

The three of us settled into a spacious renovated room with balcony and with the usual amenities-flat panel TV(Japanese channels only) WIFI, small fridge, safe with key, in this large hotel. The bathroom although older style, was spacious enough to allow the door to open inwards! As usual, the closet lacked sufficient hangers. Our booking included breakfast only costing a...

Thank you very much for staying at Fuji View Hotel. Although the hotel has 80 years history, we keep the hotel clean and neat in order for our guests to feel comfortable. Since we keep the hotel's garden clean and neat as well, our guests would see beautiful flowers such as cherry blossom in spring, azalea in summer and falling...

A total classic, a throwback from a different era of Japan. Our party split up between a tatami style room on the third floor and a Western style room on the third. I must say that the upper floor rooms have clearly been remodeled recently, with dark, striking coverings and wood finish. The third floor rooms mantained a bit of...

I had arrived close to sun down, it was cloudy and a bit foggy. So when I woke in the morning I was blown away at the most amazing view of Mount Fuji from my balcony! Would strongly suggest staying here, free shuttles to the station, friendly and helpful staff. Take a walk around the lake as well.
