We had booked a self catering unit, but we had a few problems, so we were moved to one of the B&B rooms. This was a far more comfortable room. The staff bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed in the room...

No electricity on arrival. We booked 2 rooms. One for me and my wife and a second for our two daughters 8 and 11 years old. The children's room was a long way from us and we did not feel safe. The building was of a low standard.

Vivien is a very capable, friendly hostess. Booking and enquiries were handled very efficiently. Excellent breakfast. Rooms need a thorough dusting, especially the cobwebs in the thathch (not serious though). Surrounding gardens and entrance gate rundown and need some serious attention. Is the establishment 3 star or 4 star, and awarded by whom? Indications differ.

The location and quietsness of the area is tremendous and homely. The 4 little sausage dogs just made it more homely and a please to stay. The discussion with Vivien was enlightning and I will go stay there when I am in that area again

1. Supper was home cooked meal but not everybody wants 3 vegetables and a beef stew for dinner. 2. The price I paid at Flight Centre for a booking was for 4 star but the toilet is broken, tiles are cracked in bathroom and DSTV has 4 channels working. Not what I was expecting for 4 star and price paid.... More

The owner is an amazing warm and welcoming hostess however there is much TLC needed to upgrade what could be a booming business. What is advertised as a 4 star accommodation should actually be a 1 star rating.

Location not far off the main route. We were very warmly received by Vivien and her son Lincoln. Our stay was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was good. Recommended as an overnight stopover en route to the Wild Coast!
