We attended a course at the Hotel and had an amazing experience at the Restaurant with the arranged food Menü! I am Vegan and really did not expect anything special, but my Vegan Menü was so carefully made, with amazing colours with the serving by the chefs; Olivér and Peter, the variety and the flavours were just magnificent, well done! Also would like to thank Èva, Cintia and Oliver for kindly looking after us with care, friendliness and humour and being very accommodating and kept me up to date with everything! Well done 👏🏻
Stayed at hotel Merops for a family visit, it's a gem. We had a luxury room which was very large and roomy. We also had a huge bathroom with free standing bath and walk in shower. The staff are friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. Highly recommended!
The hotel is nice you can see two different faces. One from Main Street “old “ and second from background “new “ . Interior and design are perfect. Rooms were clean and good designed . I had a dinner and I enjoyed very good red wine from local grapes. Good location I recommend to for business stay
Central but quiet location. Nice, small hotel fitted out to a good standard. Helpful, pleasant staff. Not everyone speaks English but that’s not a major problem. Nice wine selection from the producer/owner Mészáros. Limited space in the car park. We did not eat there but the menu looked nice and there were plenty of locals dining there on the Saturday night. Good breakfast - delicious eggs, good coffee.
Very kind and professional reception. Hotel is in a modern style. Carpets need cleaning. Small beds with soft mattress. Feather pillows were not available but rather stiff hollofill fillings. Had a tough night. Found no international TV channels. Breakfast was a minimum in a large empty hall. Not sure where the four stars come from. Three would be rather ok. Ranking would be 2.5 if available.
