Country estate with comprehensive wine tasting cellar and facilities for large events like weddings and private parties. They have their own vineyards nearby, which they serve at the wine tastings, together with the local bread.

4 days and 3 nights spent at this family run estate. Magyar Marketing set up our stay and day tours with Bodri being our home base. Our meals were some of the best I had in Hungary. The winery was fun to tour and of course sample. Lots to see and do in the area. A very comfy place to come back to.

Nice concept with rather strange finish. Restaurant is in a separate building so as the room or guests houses. It is still under construction. We were on the hill side apartment witch what difficult to enter with the buggy. The room was simple, kind of wooden old school type of set with A/C, clean and cool. Dinner was good so as the service. The breakfast was served from 8-10 and because we were running 2 minutes late, we were refused to serve food even though it was included in the price. They even switched off the coffee machine. This was the only downside buta bit of flexibility would be nice if you have a baby with you. Otherwise could be easily 4 stars review.

It is sweet place with excellent interior and food. Staff look a little sad and tired, maybe just such day. Rooms are very comfortable and even it looks empty there is everything you need. Roof in bathroom is not property built for tall people. Reason way we come was dinner and wine. Both of them was really excellent and food was tasteful. Try schnapps!

This relatively young winery offers many wonderful things. First of all the panoramic view is breathtaking, right in the middle of vineyards, overlooking a small lake. Next up on your tour, you should go through the wine cellars which they nicely describe and guide you through. After tasting some of their varieties, you will have difficulties choosing a favourite wine for the dinner. Not to worry, the entire menu is designed so that you can match the right wine, based on the recommendations offered by the waiters. The menu is based on seasonal products, mainly local, and taste simply delicious! Dishes are modernized version of Hungarian classics, with a beautiful presentation. They could do with a touch more fresh salads, but overall a nice dinning experience.

Had the impression of being in the middle of a concept store under a good marketing plan for weddings than a winery. Regarding accommodation. Rusty style, bed are comfortable. The cottage atmosphere is a bit ruined by solar cells and car parked under the windows... Tried restaurant. Good kitchen but not impressive. Again, it is also a wine yard. There is not the needed gourmet touch that should and could match the wine tasting.

We stayed for 2 nights invited for a celebration with friends and family (about 50 in total). The location and the restaurant are beautiful, staff is friendly. Food is good and wine is excellent. Breakfast was good too. Accomodation is rather strange. Rooms in separate houses in the vicinity. Our rooms were minimalistic but of very good size with air conditioner. Beds and toilet, as well as shower were clean. We could hear the noises from room's next and above. No shower jell or shampoo. No kettle or fridge. No room service to tidy up. A rather strange arrangement. I assume it is suitable to stay for a night after heavy meal with alcohol. The place is isolated about 2 miles from the town.

Friends were getting married and chose Podri Pinceszet as their venue. I'm glad they did; we had both a great time as the wedding, and had an excellent experience a the Bodri Pinceszet. There were close to 200 guests; not all stayed at the Bodri Prinseszet, but I think we had all the available rooms. Our room was great. Comfortable bed, nice and quite, and good cold AC too. Food served for the reception was excellent, and more than plentiful; we enjoyed great wines too, from the domaine. Szekszard is less than 2 hours by car from Lizst Ferenc airport (Budapest's airport); a pleasant drive in the country on motorways all the way except the last 10 minutes or so; there are good signs directing you at that point.

I have to emphasize first of all, that I had two different experiences: The restaurant had a very delicious, home made style, Hungarian cuisine. The personnel was super kind in the hotel and in the restaurant as well. But our rooms in the main building was terrible. Probably the other rooms in the separate buildings are much better, but the main building badly needs a whole renovation. I am talking about room 4 and 5. Every parts of the accommodation is old, bad quality and cheap. Extremely noisy: even with closed doors you can hear almost every words from the other rooms. The room is small, dark, the beds are uncomfortable, and even the lamps have got a very poor, depressing light. The bathrooms were clean. These rooms must not be sold for commercial purpose. So alltogether Bodri Winery is worth a visit, just be very smart with the room selection.
