Hotel Zodiaco is a great price:quality ratio accomodation in Szekszárd. The hotel is located close to the nightlife and city center. Breakfast is average but enough, fulfilling totally expectations. There are also available parking places directly in front of the hotel.
This Hotel is in center of Szekszárd and it is not easy to find parking places, unless using the one right next to the building, where you always have to pay. Staff was very nice and we got a useful recommendation to a great restaurant. We were lucky because the aircondition was working, not the way next doors..The room was ok, and clean, but the bathroom was pretty old, our bed was not comfortable. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet downstairs but coffee was pretty good.
Small hotel with kind personal and comfortable rooms. Close to town center and to pizzeria. Rooms are big and well heated. Secured parking place is benefit but it is not easy to find late in the night.
The hotel is situated in the city centre and is an ideal place to stay for the wine festival as everything is within easy walking distance. There are also parking facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was also a reasonable size. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet.
I had a few times the misfortune to utilise this place for resting. Maybe once upon a time it has been a nice place, who knows, I only know the city for a few decades. My review was originated from the general bad feeling about the place but I can try to come up with some specifics. Like, the "free parking" is close to useless unless you want to collect scratch memorables on your car due to the small available space. The service was mediocre, it was obvous that we (the "guests") are the unavoidable irritation for the one-woman-staff. The room was okay in a sort or cranky way, apart from the fact that once the heating was set on 500% and the control was broken, and there was no spare, so I was kind of expected to buy a monkey wrench and fix it myself or keep the window open. I try to avoid the place as much as possible.…
