Beautiful hotel set a few hundred yards from the beach and just a short walk from the town’s bars and restaurants. This hotel offers fabulous views of Kamares bay and even a welcome breeze in the evening! Breakfast is served 8.30am - 11.30am; how civilised for when on holiday! Very clean, comfortable and modern - would highly recommend!
My family (kids aged 14 and 11) stayed at Nymfes for a week in July. Mosha and her brother George are amazing hosts. The entire hotel was immaculate- our rooms, the outdoor stairs and patios, the area around the pool, the dining area, foyer, etc. The breakfasts featured a wide selection and daily freshly baked items. Our room had a view to Kamares bay- I *think* every room has a view. The bathroom is compact for sure, but it didn’t bother us. Mosha and her family are so very warm. Nymfes was exactly what we were looking for, immaculately clean, with good breakfast/coffee, decent sized rooms, warm hosts, close to town~10 min walk into town, maybe 5 min from the beach. What more does one need?! My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. Mosha and George thank you to you and your staff for a lovely stay! George also picked us up and dropped us to the port, which was handy as we had too many bags. Sifnos has enchanted our family, in a large part bc of Mosha and Nymfes. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again! Efcharistó!…
Located about a 7-minute walk from the center of town, you will not find a better option. We stayed in July for 6 nights with our teenage children. Thanks to Mosha and her brother Geoge, the welcome is warm, genuine and intimate. The hotel is immaculately clean and decorated with pottery made by one of the owners' family-member. The pool is just big enough, but don't miss swimming at the gentle turquoise beach just three minutes walk away, especially early in the day. Breakfast is delicious, with much to choose from and any number of cappuccinos from George. This is a gem of a hotel. It's the perfect base for an idyllic holiday on this as yet, not over-touristed island - the latter is its joy and strength. We will return...
Nympfes is just an incredible retreat. A quiet, stylish hotel which charming details and incredibly personalized hospitality. My daughter and I felt like we were staying with old friends. We were able to walk to town, to the beach and to a few trails, and then return "home" to our beautiful accommodation. Such a lovely summer stay in a casual and quiet beach town. Ultimate relaxation- totally our speed. Truly and home away from home.
A wonderful experience. This hotel is operated by a very gracious family and they make you feel at home. Beautifully decorated inside and out. My photos cannot do it justice. A great breakfast each morning and if you are lucky enough to be there on a Sunday morning, you can experience the Revithia, chickpea soup. A Sunday speciality on the island of Sifnos. Revithia is cooked overnight. Everything about the hotel was perfect. They were even gracious enough to help with our laundry as we were traveling for several weeks.
Nymphes is a small, lovely hotel located about a 10 minute walk from the Main Street in Kamares. A short walk closer by are 2 beach bars with a limited food menu. It is well-cared for and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which gives it a welcoming vibe. The included breakfast is excellent, with some unusual choices which differed each day. The first morning I asked for Greek coffee; each day thereafter the waiter remembered my order and had my coffee ready when I arrived. The rizogalo was excellent! We had a nightcap each evening by the pool, which was quiet in the evening. If you prefer a laid back atmosphere, this could be the place for you.
Amazingly convenient location near town, local beach, restaurants and port, clean lovely air-conditioned rooms, great bathrooms, home made breakfast buffet, beautiful pool and view but most of all the family that runs this charming boutique hotel will become family. They are warm, sincere and want to make your stay a relaxing experience. Cannot say enough.
My family and I had a four night stay at Nymphes for a family wedding this July. We were greeted at the port, where they helped to transport us and our luggage. From then on, it was truly five star service. Upon arrival, they invited us to catch the tail-end of breakfast...which we were sure to eat every day afterwards because it was delicious! A different selection each day of baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt and a hot egg dish. There were freshly made juices and a very sweet woman who made iced coffee for us every morning. We had our one year old with us and they provided a large pack and play for him to sleep in (which he LOVED) and even made his "bed" and gave him a fresh towel daily. The entire staff were more than friendly, including the young lady who cleaned our room. Oftentimes we would leave the room a bit later to get the day started and she would always wait on us to clean it. We also had yoga mats placed down for our son, which she kindly rolled up so she could mop the floors underneath. I would stay at Nymphes again without hesitation. It's a great hotel for young families. You really feel at home.…
This gem of a hotel in Kamares on the beautiful island of Sifos is one of the lovllest little places we have ever had the pleasure of staying in, and run by the most generous and friendliest family we have ever had the pleasure to meet!! Everything is perfect with a capital P. from the cleanliness to the excellent breakfasts (try Mums little rice puddings with cinnamon) and everything in between. Its run mostly by Mosha who is a wonderful host, and her brother, who we christened Super Cool George, with his ever present 'shades' and because absolutely nothing is a problem for him, nor indeed is it for Mosha. And while the 2 of them attend to the business of running the hotel Mum bakes wonderful little puddings and cakes and potters around watering the plants etc. The breakfasts were the best we have ever had anywhere in Greece The rooms have excellent air con, fresh linen, crisp white towels and lovely little toiletries and is immaculately cleaned every day by the little Ukranian maid whos name I forget. The pool is the perfect temperature, and the loungers and shades of high quality. It is also very well located, about a ten minute stroll to the beach and restaurants and is very quiet and peaceful at night. The whole place is spick and span and the flowers/plants around the outdoor area are beautiful. I think this is the only place I have ever came across where everything is much better in real life than the pictures online suggest The family also offer a free shuttle service to and from the ferry. We went to Sifnos to renew our wedding vows and not only did Mosha book the hairdresser and taxi for us, but when we came back to our room, we couldnt believe our eyes. On the bed was a beautiful scroll with the families good wishes, and a bunch of dried lavender and on the dressing table, a tray of fruit and chocolates and a bottle of Proscecco chiiling in an ice bucket. Where in the world can you find that kind of service?? At this point I am wondering if I should be keeping one of my now favourite places in the world a secret. Thank you Mosha, George, Mum and family for the memories and for being hugely influential in the success of our vow renewal and in making this one of the most enjoyable and relaxing holidays ever. Tip for readers. Book directly with the hotel for a much better rate than with agents.…
