Nice and clean rooms, big swimming pool and nice view. Parking area easy to access. Kamares beach is 10 minutes by feet and all the cafeterias and restaurants too. The port is also very close, particurarly 3 minutes away by car. Breakfast is tasty with lots of choices.

We stayed with Stella for the second week of September and can thoroughly recommend her lovely hotel. The location at the top of the hill gives incredibly views of the port and out to sea and of the mountains opposite. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast area by the pool again is beautifully decorated and has a gorgeous rustic yet luxurious feel to it. This feels like a much more expensive hotel because of all the thought that has clearly gone into the furniture, plants and decoration. Because it is located at the top of the hill, it may not be suitable if you have any mobility issues. but the views and the peaceful atmosphere completely outweigh the effort of getting there and it is only the last section that's steep, so we didn't find it a problem at all. Stella does everything she can to make you feel comfortable, we had to stay an extra night because of cancelled ferries and she and Fantasy Travel sorted everything out for us, no hassles. In short, don't hesitate to stay at Margado, it is a fantastic place!

Stella and her husband were perfect hosts and their establishment is just lovely. We had a triple room upstairs with a HUGH balcony overlooking the harbour - spectacular views!! The pool was beautiful, crystal clear and so relaxing. Stella was more than happy to help us when we had questions about the island and getting around. The breakfast was delicious, and if you are lucky enough to be there on Sunday morning you will be served home cooked chickpea soup - a specialty of Sifnos - Stella's husbands version was to die for (I want the recipe)!! Yes there are lots of stairs but what place in Greece doesn't have stairs. And it was great exercise walking the short distance back up the hill from the harbour. The views and ambience make it all worthwhile. (But if you can't face the walk you can easily get a taxi from the water front.) Lovely place, lovely food, lovely people - we would definitely book again.

This boutique accommodation is very friendly with personalised service. The location is high up with beautiful sunsets. Stella and her husband are wonderful hosts. The beach is a short stroll down the hill. The stairs help coming back and it is good to zig zag the short steep part. We had a great lunch cooked by the husband. Enjoyed the pool and breakfast was great too. Thanks for making our stay so fulfilling and memorable.
