A small cozy place with decent and prompt service. The room was spacious enough with a balcony having a breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga, though due to the weather we could see very little of it, not that we hadnt already seen a much grander view from Thangu. After a refreshing shower and a leisurely walk around the small town, we...

Was very skeptical of making this trip a success considering the weather..however the folks at Planters Home made it a very pleasant experience. They were very forthcoming with all help needed, including transport and made our trip an experience of a life time! ..and yes, the kanchanjunga is visible from the rooms here!

Mangan is a beautiful village close to Gangtok. Cabs and Taxis are easily available. The planters home is neat clean and provides you all the amenities of a good worthy hotel. The food is yummy and service excellent.

The planter's home is everything that you would expect from a nice cozy resort. Mangane village is simple quiet small and beautiful. Planter's home accentuates these qualities. Especially when you are travelling back from a trip to Lachen Lachung. 5 stars for sure.

The hotel is located in just the heart of the town. Rooms are quite spacious and good. The view from the rooms are just wow.We stayed here for 1 night. You can go to Lachung or lachen from here that takes approx 2-3 hours.

We wanted to do something away from Gangtok, had been to Pemayangste earlier so were surfing the net to look for some other place which can be accessible in January. We came across the symbol on their Gangtok hotel Sonam Delek website. After a few calls they assured us that it would be ok and also arranged for transport from...

The Planter's Home (TPH) combines serenity and comfort to give you a next-level getaway. To say I enjoyed my two-day stint at The Planters Home would be an understatement; I loved it. So much so, that when I first started writing out this review, I hadn't the faintest idea where to start. The pros - 'Service with a smile' is...

Located in the upper region of Mangan, the views were breathtaking. The surrounding area is quiet, located near the local soccer field and a small school. The bed was big and firm and I took advantage of room service by having delicious tea first thing in the morning! I enjoyed a much wanted hot bath (a luxury in these parts)...

We were planning a trip from Gangtok to Lachung and Lachen (North Sikkim) in late March when we came across a truly lucky find - The Planter's Home. Because of this hotel, we could actually break journey and prepare for our rather arduous road journey to the high altitude in North Sikkim. The Planter's Home was a delightful surprise. It's...

We were in North Sikkim on a holiday and stayed at The Planters Home in April. I was extremely impressed with the food and the hospitality of the staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. We would certainly recommend this place to any one who want to visit SIKKIM.
