Stayed here as a family in two rooms in early August. Hotel is close to Ranthambore NP and perfect for safaris. Rooms decent sized, but pretty basic really, and the bathrooms only just good enough. Pool was not useable due to algae, they said it would be cleaned, but it never happened. It felt understaffed, and this was especially noticeable... More

Like others, we found this place delightful and exciting. Felt like we were a little bit off the track. It has been a few months since i was there, but this is one of the hotels I have very fond memories of. Great friendly staff, great food. Impossible to ask for more, unless 5 star chic is your style.

This Old palace would not suit everyone, but we loved it. Don't expect modern luxuries as you are taking a step back in time. We stayed here for a couple of nights during a months visit to Rajasthan, exploring villages and staying in Old Forts and Palaces ; all so different. This one just oozes history, atmosphere and character. The... More

If you need a break of the journey from Udaipur to Agra and want to avoid the over touristic place of Sawaimadhopur (Ranthambore) then stay here! You would not expect such a luxury in this remote area and your stay here will give you a glimpse of the past and glorious Maharaja era of Rajasthan. The owner/manager is a very... More

Hi on the last long break weekend we decided to explore something nearby yet off beat for a 2 day mini break after working contentiously. Rajhamal looked to be the best option as it was near, well connected and had a beautiful surrounding to offer. The property is old, but not well maintained, still if you are looking for a... More

We had been here for a weekend and It is surely one AMAZING place. The property is very old (about 10000 years old ) and surely feels peaceful as it is situated right next to the river. Not a very hi-fi place. All the rooms are of different dimensions :) (So during off season ;you surely get confused as to which... More

Located on the banks of a dried up rivulet, this 18th century palace was disappointing on first sight! So much so that we almost decided to leave our reservation and move on to Bundi which is not far away from there, till we were bowled over by exemplary service and we stayed on for two nights! When one is not... More

What I had seen in the photos on their website, I got more than that I would say. The palace is at a magical location with hill top fort at one side and seasonal river at the other side. It's an old fort converted into resort. You should not go there with expectation of 5* facilities, however go their with... More
