We attended a friends wedding held here for 2 nights . The hotel and grounds are old world palatial. (Some exterior walls are worn, but I guess that's to be expected for an old palace) Service was excellent. The buffet breakfast was standard. The other meals for lunch and dinner were superb (this was part of the wedding, so I...

We arrived from Pushkar early afternoon. The approach is through a pleasant village up a cobbled street to a very beautiful and tranquil entrance to this stunning palace hotel. We were made very welcome. Had easy check in and lucky enough to get an upgrade to The Maharana Suite (104). The suite was perfect in every way. Lovely comfortable bed,...

After a 40 odd km ride from Jaipur, you enter the Samode Village leading to Samode Palace taking you in a era of palatial living. The magnificent grandeur of this palace is a must for a luxury spoil. My wife and me were celebrating our anniversary in Samode Palace. Mr Sharma GM Samode Palace and Mr Pawan Singh ensured that...

Dropped in for a quick visit and stayed back for a heavenly lunch The Bloody Mary that the unseen bar provided was 'to-die-for... bits of asparagus rather than the traditional stock was a welcome addition... Selected a small meal of Home style Yogurt marinated Mutton Curry (boneless baby lamb chunks) simply heavenly n tandoori roti/paratha -- topped off with moong...

By the time you have driven to Samode Palace, through the gates and see the grandeur, all you can say is wow! From the drop off point in the immaculate gardens, past the vintage cars, you climb two flights of stairs before entering the complex itself. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and very helpful. The room we...

Approx. 40kms North from Jaipur is a small village nestling in a fold of the Aravelli range where the palace of Samode can be found. The Durber Hall is a must see as it was used in the filming of The Far Pavilions. This place is also a hotel parts where I understand the British Embassy used for their private...

This is a unique experience, there is no other place on earth like this. The hotel or should I say palace, is perched on a Rajasthani hillside, and the moment you arrive through the gates you are blown away by the splendour of the architecture. The staff were there to greet us as soon as we got there, and they...

Most people think of a Palace when referring to Samode, which is absolutely correct; however, few people know there is also the Bagh known as the royal Gardens. Samode has created tented accommodation in these sprawling gardens replete with boundless trees of tamarind, Amla Berry amidst dancing peacocks! For those staying in Jaipur, merely 50 kms away, a day trip...
