Beautiful traditional haveli in the heart the city. Very well maintained. Staff is very polite and helpful. It is one of the oldest hotels in Phalodi and the best. It is owned by the Dhadha family and they also have set up a museum with all the original things from the haveli. Sadly their museum was under renovation when I visited. Staff showed some items from the museum n they looked intriguing. Perhaps next time. The government should refurbish the fort and perhaps other havelis in Phalodi. Then this place will be an absolute gem.
Absolutely a best hotel in this city of Jodhpur. The rooms looked very attractive. Ambiance is very good. The AC rooms gives us a great relaxation. We get great satisfaction with the service offered by them. The place is absolutely good value for money.
Once upon a time this hotel was part of the ITC group heritage line of hotels. But post that the quality and service has declined due to poor business. If one has to stay in Phalodi this is the closest option one can get for a decent room with a clean washroom. Owned by the Dadha family based out of Chennai who are into the pharmaceutical line of business, this property is the ancestral home to the family. At one place of the property one can see the complete family tree of the Dadha family along with the current owner Mr S Mohan Chand. Mr. Hem Chand Sharma who happened to be the GM was not present and Mr. Murli Vyas took care and made us comfortable at the property. Phalodi is famous for the kind of stone and sand it has apart from the Jain temples out here. The restaurant is visited by locals hence it needs to given some priority to hotel's in house guests. The hotel is under staffed.…
Overrated hotel. Over priced. No free breakfast where it was included in tariff. Bed mattress were highly uncomfortable and hard. And when asked for a extra spring mattress bed , according to their staff. Mattress was some 100 years old. We got surprised to listen that. And top of it. Linens are poor and dirty pillow covers. And very old and dirty towels. Voice of tone of manager answering calls on reception is rude and arrogant. He will gwt offended if you book hotel online and not through him.
It was clean but being based in the middle of town it was very noisy, ear plugs are essential. We didn’t have dinner but breakfast was adequate. WiFi only in reception. Stayed in better but also stayed in far worse. It ain’t the Hyatt Regency but it isn’t charging those prices.
