We stayed at Twenty Seven B&B for 3-nights at the beginning of July. Prior to our arrival we had exchanged emails with Terry so we knew exactly where to come as there is no mobile reception in the immediate area. We chose the B&B based on it’s location as you can walk to the castle, viaduct and lake from the... More

Great little BnB, room was perfect for what we needed, Terry kindly set it out for 3 adults. Terry recommended a local pub that was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was good with toast and coffee on tap. Free wifi and a signal booster in the house is a nice touch. Just remember to make... More

What a lovely, warm, clean, friendly and comfortable B&B this was. Terry was incredibly accommodating despite us arriving later than intended due to a long drive and poor traffic. He suggested places to eat, provided contact details for pubs/restaurants and allowed us to use his home phone to make reservations. Terry had left notes all over the communal areas informing... We stayed here as we were booked for a Jupiter night at the observatory. We couldn't have been closer. Terry gave us a lovely welcome and made us feel at home. After a good meal at the local we enjoyed clear skies at the observatory. A good night's sleep in the comfy bed was followed by a good breakfast to... More

Spent two nights here and would definitely recommend it. Warm and friendly welcome, spotless accommodation and great breakfast. A good example of a well run B&B with the location being perfect for the observatory. We were blessed with clear skies and amazing star gazing at the observatory but would have enjoyed ourselves even if the weather hadn't been so good.... More

Jill and Terry couldn't do enough for us when we were there, the room was gorgeous, spacious and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and they offered us packed lunches if we needed them when we went out walking. It's so close to the Observatory (we went for a deep sky viewing which was wonderful) and they have two telescopes... More

Like many others, we booked an evening at the Observatory and chose 27 as the closest place to stay. Yes, a little "quirky" regarding decoration and furnishings but clean, warm, a comfortable bed and very good breakfast. A bonus point for an area with very poor mobile reception was good wifi and cellular "booster". The local pub serves dinner in... More

Booked on Friday 9th October to stay on Saturday 10th October as we thought the skies would be clear and have always wanted to experience the dark skies. Whilst we didn't get to see anything our stay with twenty seven was excellent. Jerry was helpful and the room was small but clean and the bed very comfy. We also had... More
