It was our golf tour around Italy. We end up staying in this very stylish 1000 years old royal family hotel. They have different style rooms and lots of decorative that resemble their heritage history. The restaurant is very french atmostphere and servse magnificent Italy cuisine. I could almost not compliant until I pour a glass of juice into my... More

Beautiful setting, attentive staff and well, appointed rooms. The castle is full of history with views down to Lake Maggiore. Every member of staff was attentive and keen to ensure our stay went smoothly. Beautiful pastries and a good selection at breakfast. We had dinner at the Hotel two evenings - cooked to perfection. Had a club sandwich for lunch on... More

A beautiful hotel in amazing grounds, and only a short way from the Lake. The restaurant served superb quality food along with very well priced wine and champagne. The ideal place for a romantic getaway. We hired a car and drove up to Switzerland.

We stayed with 3 children and everyone had a great time, staff were so good with children, food was excellent and location perfect, would go back in an instant if opportunity arose! The pool will bring this hotel to the next level completely,

From the moment we arrived we made to feel that anything we needed or wanted would be taken care of. The staff here have wonderful local knowledge and a great willingness to serve. The hotel itself is beautiful from the lobby to the rooms and if you take the time to go over and have a walk around the garden... More

This was the first stop on our 15 day Italian trip. The hotel was a little difficult to find, as you must drive down some very narrow streets in order to get there. Once there, the property seemed well maintained and the reception area was lovely, with refreshments offered upon arrival. The personal service was exemplary. All hotel staff were... More

There are tow totally separate parts. I stayed into the Castello in a reasonably sized room with an attached shower room. It's all very gothic and a bit of a fantasy land but sadly the shower temperature was unreliable and the wifi really quite poor. The main hotel is the Palazzo which is a short walk through the grounds and... More

The hotel is incredible and the service even better. I would like to come back, but they have to improve some details... The status of the no-main gardens is a pity... There is some buildings running-down inside the property (in the suburbs, no in the main area and you cann't see them from your room but if you go for... More

My girlfriend and I were staying here for a week bed and breakfast. The stately home is wonderful and very peaceful with 99% of the staff being very nice. It's easy to feel like an Italian aristocrat here although it isn't long before you have to pay for the title. The room was wonderful, the views from the top of... More

T he stay was great the location is very warmly - the service at the hotel restaurant and close by wine bar have been great. The hotel is surrounded by a wide fabulous park with rare and ancient...
