Lovely room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Very freindly couple. You are made very welcome. Great choice of breakfast with local produce and very tasty. Definitely stay here again. Very close to the town centre and buccleuch centre.

Lovely comfortable bungalow very near the town centre. Super breakfast. We were bike touring and were pleased to have secure bike storage. We received a very friendly welcome even though we were slightly later than the 6pm check in cut off time. Always difficult to secure single occupancy rooms for one night at a weekend but this seemed no problem... More

Stayed here during Spring Fling with another couple. Super, warm friendly welcome, spotless rooms that had lovely decor, bathroom with beautiful grapefruit-smelling soap, and a huge, delicious breakfast. Felt like we were being slightly rushed out the door on Sunday morning... but maybe we were just too relaxed and enjoying ourselves! One tip for travellers: when pre-ordering breakfast, beware of... I stayed 3 nights here and it was the best place in Scotland that I have stayed so far. Paul and Betty make you feel so at home and the food at breakfast is wonderful and sets you up for the day. I came up here to forget the stresses and strains of city life and it certainly worked. Can't... More

“All rooms seem lovely. Our friends were at the back. We had a room at the front. Beautifully decorated, ample storage space, spacious bathroom but as it's a bungalow you are visible from the street if in the front room... not a problem as they have blinds. Front or back, the house is beautifully quiet, so you are guaranteed a good night's sleep.”
