One of the friendliest places we have visited. The rooms are comfortable clean and tidy, although a little tired. Good food with plenty of choice offered at reasonable prices. Along with a fine selection of wines and ales. A substantial English breakfast, setting you up for the day ahead.

Very friendly, food superb. Ideal centre for touring Cotswolds. Host Bill is on hand to cater for your every need. Would recommend this inn. Had evening meal with husband and got served 2 of the thickest juiciest steaks. Breakfast was brilliant with full English, juices, cereals, fresh fruit.

Food was brilliant- all freshly cooked, generous portions, and reasonably priced. Room was fine, comfy bed and flat screen TV. As others have said perhaps the decor might be in need of some tlc, but don't let this put you off,... More

My husband and I spent our ten year anniversary here with our dog, Bonnie. We stayed in room and it was perfect for the three of us. Comfortable bed, staff very friendly and Bill is a legend. We were made to feel very welcome and Bonnie was allowed in the bar on the lead so we didn't have to leave... More

Loved this B&B......friendly service, great food and so welcoming. A good location to explore the Cotswolds. I wish we could have stayed longer. The food is delicious! Highly recommend. Bill, the owner, could not have been nicer, as were all the staff.

We called in at 8.20pm for a meal. Had chilli prawns and liver pate for starters and ham,egg and chips and rack of lamb. Both were good but the lamb exceptional with a rack of four large chops, plenty of vegetables. Friendly efficient staff

The Merrymouth is an excellent choice, if you want something a bit more relaxing after doing the whole tourist thing in England. The room was comfortable, all ground floor, a delightful garden bar, (complete with Mo's horse around the back). The food, ( cooked by Bill, the owner) is excellent. Chris, the barman knows his drinks, and can mix a... More

This place makes the best sunday roast we have ever tasted. Generous with the meat and vegetables and roast potatoes to die for. Service is always excellent and the welcome always with a smile. The pub is located very well between Burford and Stow and provides a large carpark
