Picture a villa that sits directly on the water. On your private deck is an outdoor "bed" with white cheesecloth netting swaying in the breeze; a hammock that swings out over the water; snorkeling only steps away from the villa; and romantic sunsets. We spent our honeymoon at Aruba Ocean Villas in October and stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. Breakfast was served every day in our room and the coffee was HOT! The food is good (fresh daily) but the service is what stands out for us. The entire staff is engaging, warm, helpful, and charming and they are committed to each guest having the best possible experience. There are 7 villas, each unique in design, size, and location and they look exactly like the pictures online. Imagine that! The owner has given great thought to the nuances that make this place so special: freshly picked roses everywhere you look; colorful decor that feels like bursts of sunshine; white table cloths; cozy sitting areas (four poster beds on the beach, hammocks, Adirondack chairs; even kayaks! If you want a special dining experience, reserve the tiny, private cabana that sits out on the water, separate from the villas. No extra cost. Breathtaking views at sunset and delightfully romantic. For touring, the island is small and driving is a breeze. They even have Google Maps and Waze so you don't get lost. ! If you want to eat out, we suggest a tiny restaurant called Taste My Aruba located up near the hotel strip. This tiny gem has just 6 tables so book early. The food and ambiance is worth every single penny. Hands down the best food on the island. We would give Aruba Ocean Villas 11 stars if we could and secretly hope no one hears about it. Cheers! We started our honeymoon with 4 nights in the Isla Alistaire and the only regret we have is that we didn't spend our entire honeymoon here. This place is everything you want in a relaxing yet exciting vacation/honeymoon. The food is amazing and you can explore right off of the dock. The animal life around the villas is wonderful. Pelicans within arms reach, barracuda, octopus, you name it. I hope we have a chance to visit everyone there again. Also, if you like dogs, this is really the place for you.

This place is magical! These private bungalows are located over water, so you have a nice relaxing view at all times. The water is shallow here, so no diving, but you can easily access the water and water sports. Throughout the day and night, you can hear the sounds of the ocean and the tradewinds. Super relaxing and very romantic!! The staff wants you to be happy - they want you to come back, so they go above and beyond to ensure you are pleased. At night, the bungalows are illuminated with lights of many different colors. When you see the lights glimmering off the water, it is elegant and magical!!

The moment you step on the property you are transported to a secluded tropical oasis. The ocean, the lush landscape and the Villas meld into one seamless beautiful location. The Owner and the Staff have created a space that rivals, and most probably exceeds, anything else on the island. We stayed in both the Chupi and the Dushi Sue, each amazing in their own right. We ate dinner on the property 3 nights and wish we had done so a 4th. LOCATION - The Villas are 25 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the Hotel District. It is a $40 taxi ride each direction so plan accordingly. Despite the charge and distance, we would not change our location. FOOD - The Villas had the best food and the atmosphere you will be looking for at any other restaurant you go to. Breakfast and coffee were amazing each morning! The only night we went out to dinner we tried the Flying Fishbone, located about 50 yards from the Villas. It was highly recommended on Trip Advisor but we found the food and atmosphere to be just ok. To be fair though, we were comparing it to the Villas. We also tried Zeerovers for lunch. Also highly recommended but found it to be mediocre. The concept is fun. You stand in line (you will stand for 45 minutes at lunch) and order between two daily catches, add some sides and they fry it up and bring to your table. The best part of the meal was watching the fish swim around the dock. NIGHTLIFE - we went to the hotel district one evening. Had a blast. Went to a outdoor club called South Beach and danced until it closed. Then around the corner to a smaller bar, Gusto and did more of the same. Ended up at an after hours bar, which I can't remember the name of, and had a great time people watching and chatting it up with the locals. Met many colorful people and drank quite a few local beers. ACTIVITIES - We booked an ATV tour and a snorkel tour. The ATV's were great. We saw most of the island cruising around. Went to the National Park, swam in the ocean, explored a cave, had fish nibble on our toes and met some great people. The snorkeling adventure was fun as well. Saw some amazing fish and a ship wreck. Would recommend either or both depending on your time constraints. THE VILLAS STAFF - I cannot say enough about how sweet, kind and helpful the Staff were. Zaldi, Wendel, and Marialisa became our friends/family. They were attentive to our needs and were sincerely interested in making sure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The rest of the crew kept the grounds and your room beautiful!!!!! You can feel the love and care put into the property. OVERALL - Aruba Ocean Villas is an experience!!!!!! You will love it! The rest of the places are simply . . . . . . as the Weeds intro describes it best . . . Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes made of ticky tacky Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes all the same, There's a green one and a pink one And a blue one and a yellow one And they're all made out of ticky tacky And they all look just the same.

We had the most wonderful time at the villas. The hospitality was over the top, and the ambiance is so tranquil. The breakfast every day is terrific and the diner is top notch. We ate dinner 4 nights and it was great every time.
