#1 of 5 B&Bs / Inns in Savaneta
Welcome to our Club Arias Bed & Breakfast. My name is Arias Schwarz and own a bed and breakfast in Savaneta, Aruba with my wife, Flory. We first discovered the enchanting island of Aruba 20 years ago, and we were so taken with the island that we made it our annual vacation destination. On one vacation, we ventured to the southern part of the island and found Savaneta. Within Savaneta we found many treasured jewels, which included the culture and real beauty of Aruba. The beaches on the resort side paled in comparison to the beaches we found in Savaneta. The cuisine was mouth watering, welcoming and very affordable. And the people bore the true heart of the island. Savaneta was such a positive experience for both of us that we were inspired to create Club Arias Bed & Breakfast to share our new world. We want our guests to know all of the island's beauty and take in all of its charm, and we always strive to make it as affordable as possible. Our mission is to give our visitors a personable vacation that cannot be obtained from the typical hotel resorts. Our haven is a family run business. Our two daughters have a real passion for our business, and you will see them from time-to-time greeting our guests upon arrival or wishing them well upon departure. When you visit us, we want you to feel like you are part of our family and we hope to engage you with our love for this island and our love for its people.

This is not a review that I enjoy writing but it is the reason that TripAdvisor exists. We stayed at this resort in 2013 and greatly enjoyed our stay because of its location on the island and the pool area. This time we arrived the evening of Saturday September 28 to discover from Jaythan, a staff employee, that we were unexpected though we had booked the room on September 4th. It turned out that he put us in room #9 which was the same room that we had enjoyed previously. What a difference this time. The room and bathroom weren't that clean, the bath towels were frayed and there were actual holes in the pillowcases. We also noticed water on the floor of the bathroom with no discernible source after looking under the sink and inside the vanity. We had to put a towel down to soak up the water. But, WORST of all for us the refrigerator was not working and looked like it hadn't been working for a while. I went to find Jaythan to tell him about the leak and the dead refrigerator and found him cooking in a pizza kitchen attached to the property which appeared to be his priority. He finally brought a working refrigerator to the room the following afternoon. There was no housekeeper so we asked Jayhan for extra towels on Sunday because ours were on the floor soaking up the leak. The water was still leaking and we were still waiting for the towels when we left on Tuesday morning. Its also too bad that no one is taking care of the grounds. The dirty plates and empty wine bottles that were on the tables around the pool when we arrived on Saturday were still there when we left on Tuesday. However, we would still stay at Club Arias the next time we are going to Aruba if the latest TripAdvisor reviews show that things have changed for the better and the resort is once again being maintained properly.

I arrived at the hotel almost at midnight as my flight was very delayed. There is a doorbell on the gate which I pressed but I thought it was broken as I didn’t hear it ring. A few minutes later, Jaythan comes out. He was most welcoming and had been waiting for me to arrive. He showed me to my room - the nook. Perfect room for a couple or one person, in my case. He explained that the bathroom was inside the room but the shower was outside right next to the room. I already knew this as I had read the reviews. I don’t know why people get upset when they find out, just do your research! I slept great, bed was clean and comfy. Jaythan is also an amazing chef, he cooks breakfast every morning. It was so good! The property is big with tons of places to sit and enjoy the breeze. The pool is really nice. There was a second pool with a swim up bar but it was closed while I was there. It’s such a chill vibe and it’s feels like you are actually in Aruba. As opposed to the high rise hotels full of tourists. Jaythan went above an beyond while I stayed at Club Arias. I have no doubt in my mind that I will return!

This was the last place we stayed on our vacation and it was the perfect way to end a great week! It was pristine, quite, and peaceful. The pool was just perfect! Gorgeous, clean, and the perfect temperature. We were near the beach and all the other things we wanted to do on the south side of the island. The room was so clean and beautiful. Great stay and worth the money for sure!
