Very nice and clean hotel. Easy walk to the beach and some food/bars. Would definitely stay again. Bus route is right around corner on main road which was easy to take up and down the coast. Would suggest Masseys as a grocery stop for food instead of Jordan's if staying for a bit.

Mullins Grove is a two and three storey collection of apartments around a pool. The apartments are very big and all have a well stocked kitchen and terrace area, some overlooking the pool area and some overlooking the garden.
The apartments are located about 5 minutes walk from Mullins beach which is small (especially at full tide which swallow's up a large section of the sand) but nice enough with loungers for hire at B$40 for two (about £18). There are three bars/restaurants on the beach two of which (Sea Shed and Westmorland) are very expensive and one (Adrian's) which isn't!
During our time there it was very quiet around the pool area however we spoke to a resident who told us it can get very noisy especially around half term where there are lots of children.
The biggest downside for us were twofold:
The only supermarket within walking distance was a mini-mart at a gas station about 10 minutes away which had a VERY limited selection of food and NO fresh meat or fish. If you wanted more the nearest supermarket is Massy's in Holetown about 4 miles away.
The amount of bar/restaurants within walking distance is very limited and expensive. The brochure claims that Speightown is '20 mins walk' but this is not true. It is at least double that or else bus/taxi ride away.
All in all I would say that Mullins Grove offers excellent accommodation but access to bars/restaurants/supermarkets you can walk to is very limited.

Having booked through a travel company who were only contactable by email we were concerned about our late arrival due to our plane being delayed. However, the concierge, Nicole, was there to greet us as we stepped out of our taxi.
Our 2 bed apartment was really clean and well equipped. Our balcony was very large and was great for relaxing, eating and watching the wildlife as we had a great view.
The apartment was very modern and spacious. Everything was white including the sofas so care should be exercised to keep it clean. There are warning signs not to use make up, fake tan, etc, because if the sofas get grubby there will be an extra cleaning cost at the end of the holiday.
We were staying for a week and our apartment was cleaned twice in that time which we thought was adequate.
The location of the apartments was lovely, a few hundred yards from Mullins Beach and the 2 beach bars.
Unfortunately I had broken my foot 3 weeks before our holiday so I was quite limited as to where we could go. Most days we stayed around the pool which was perfect and there was always plenty of availability of Sun loungers and parasols.
Other reviews have mentioned that there was a pool bar but there wasn’t while we stayed there.
We hired a car for a few days and we were glad we did because the nearest supermarket to stock up on food was in Holetown (Massy’s) or Speightstown (Jordan’s), neither of which were within walking distance. Taxi fares are very expensive although there are buses you can use (we didn’t because of my foot :( )
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Nicole was wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. When our flight back to the UK was unexpectedly delayed by a day, Nicole took it all in her stride and made us welcome to stay an extra night without making a fuss.
The only improvement that could be made is to have some milk/tea/coffee available in the apartment when we arrived. After an 8 hour flight it would have been good to have a few supplies.
We had a really enjoyable week at Mullins Grove and we would definitely consider staying again.

Absolutely terrible, good place if you want to listen to teenagers having party’s all night . The photos totally lie , very run down , un kept not white looks yellow . No welcome pack , no toiletries at all . The owner never shows to meet you when you complain, she actually lies . They begrudge you when you ask for more bathroom towels as they only change every 3 days . Bar was not open . All the furniture are run down and old , etc kitchen sink following to bits . AC never worked in lounge . Better places in Barbados for £6,000 for 12 nights . We had to leave on the 10 th day , do we lost money and they actually do not care . I have a travel business and won’t be recommending Mullins grove as I traveled to Barbados 8 times

My son suffers from celiac disease which is a nitemare when eating out due to risk of cross contaminated food. They prepared my ice cream out back and opened new ice cream tub to make sure it was safe. Also offer gluten free cones!!! Also ice cream was delicious 😋

We stayed as a family of 4 in a 2 bed apartment for 4 nights. The apartments are fab, really spacious and with a very well equipped kitchen. We had problems with the AC in one bedroom and the dishwasher when we first arrived but Nicole and team were instantly on the case getting it sorted. Housekeeping from Denise was lovely - she always checked with us to see we had everything we needed. Great pool/beach towels are provided - you’re only minutes walk from gorgeous Mullins beach where you can snorkel right off the beach. There’s a wonderful little drinks and snack bar called Adrian’s sunset bar. Watch out for the lethal rum punch. We had such a lovely peaceful stay at Mullins Grove we’d definitely go back and recommend it! But our biggest thanks has got to be to Nicole for chasing up our departure PCR tests when they didn’t come back as quickly as we’d hoped! We were still waiting the morning of our flight. Thanks again Nicole, Denise & rest of the team for making it a wonderful place to stay in Barbados

Located in a quiet area of the west coat, only a stones throw from Mullins Beach and Sea Shed Beach Club...it is the ideal location.
The apartments are super roomy, really well equipped, and kept to a very high standard.

Good central West Coast location near to a few bars and restaurants and a bus stop. The apartments appear to be privately owned and rented out by an agent when the owners aren’t there. The apartments are really high quality and equipped with everything you need. Great beds, fully furnished and large kitchen / dining / balcony areas. The pool area is very pleasant and there’s enough sun beds for everyone.
There’s very little in respect of on site facilities but you have to remember they’re the equivalent of a managed Airbnb type property. We had an initial issue with our travel agent giving us the wrong check in time but a phone call sorted that. I’d suggest getting in touch with the property directly and confirm arrangements before you arrive. There’s no reception as such and you need a code to get in which we didn’t have so had to rely on the other guests to make contact for us which helped us out. If you’re looking for superb accommodation and are self sufficient you’ll love it, but if you want a hotel type experience it’s probably not for you. We loved it and will definitely be back.

+1
Loved this place. Really quiet and a 3min walk from Mullins Beach. Our agent didn't inform us we needed to call on arrival for someone to meet us but we'd mailed ahead and they said to ring as there's no manned reception.
Siobhan met us and gave us a tour of the apartment. 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a big open plan kitchen / lounge room. Kitchen was well equipped and there's also a washer / dryer.
We had a problem with the lock on the balcony door which was fixed same day and they kindly gave us a longer check out time as we had a late flight back.
There's a nice little pool area with 12 loungers for cooling down and parking out front if you have a car. Would happily return here and to Mullins overall as we loved it.

Although the travel agent over sold the facilities it didn't matter as the apartment was excellent check in was interesting. Nicole double booked in two locations.. Ok TV remote didn't work but didn't want it. Wasn't here to watch TV. Nicole was v helpful lot's of contacts and recommendations for us. Great location, beaches and restaurants. Only improvement I can think of. A welcome pack. Food, drink etc. If we could deposit some money to have a delivery made on arrival 😀.
