It was a nice experience staying at vihangama.the river side villa gives a great view of the Tunga river. We had opted for dinner for that night, but the food was not at all worth the money, If anyone plans to stay better not to opt for food .

Vihangama holiday retreat is literally a treat to nature lovers.. amidst arecanut plantation and right next to the quietly flowing tunga river - Vihangama is must see for all those who wants to enjoy the luxury of a resort amidst the nature. The drive from shivamogga to Thirthahalli is the one to experience with dense forests and tunga backwaters on...

Vihangama is a perfect place to relax and unwind. We were two families and booked 2 deluxe cottages. The rooms were perfect clean linen etc. It has a nice sit out. The plantation walk is very relaxing and is not acres together, it is just perfect. The Tunga river is just about 200 meters away from the room and one...

Large area. Nice view, several options to suite budget from standard, deluxe, bunker to river facing villas. Food is optional so choose to eat here or outside depending on the plan. Food is great and 250 bucks for dinner and 150 for breakfast. Staff is very friendly. There is Private river beach. Beer available.

We went on a long weekend based on a last minute decision to Vihangama as the place was known to a friend. Normally, we would not go to a place which is ranked so low on trip advisor especially on the customer service part. We took 2 of the river front villas. These were really good. Clean, well furnished, good...

The host at this place has no respect for the customers. Our room was not ready at the check in time. He did not even care to apologise. Since we already knew that the food is expensive and without variety from Tripadvisor reviews, we chose to eat out. Next day when we were his staff checked rooms for damages beforecheck...

The river flowing close to the property offers a private and exclusive experience for the guests. It is situated close to good tourist spots. And thats about it. There is no variety in the food offerings...
