My daughter, I and some friends stayed in this gracious old hotel along the Danube River in Vidin. The room was clean, looked onto the park that runs along the Danube and the staff was professional and helpful. There is an outdoor swimming pool, but we didn't use it. Vidin is a small city and the hotel offers a good...

Me and my husband stayed there for 1 night. Room was average size, but with small windows and average furniture.Minibar prices were decent.Mattress was not so good- weird, considering I chose this hotel considering other traveler's good opinion about this hotel's mattresses.Bathroom was large , with a large window-which was great, but it had a smell from draining. We had dinner...

We stayed at this hotel in july, while returning from a trip to Greece. The hotel is hosted by a beautiful old building, right on the bulgarian side of Danube, surrounded by a park. The hotel has a pool, a resaturant and a bar. The rooms are large but unfortunately the charm of the old building is ruined by the...

The building is old-fashioned beautiful. Rooms are big, modern and very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff and good buffet breakfast. Good location only a few steps from the Danube. Good price and good wifi. if only the outdoor swimming pool had been open already in the middle of May.

We enjoyed sitting by the pool, which is a definate plus after a day's work, local beer was great and...

We went for dinner and were surprised that the restaurant was outside by the swimming pool. It is not a large establishment. Surrounded by shrubbery - mists of cold air were sprayed out at various times which was lovely! There was an English menu for us and the waiter was very helpful. We had a local red wine which was...

We were told by our river cruise director to try the Anna Kristina hotel for good wi-fi service. We stumbled into the restaurant and ended up with a FAB dinner of local Bulgarian food and a cheap price. There was fried zuchini chips, grilled veggies, grilled veal tongue, a pork stew and a couple of other dishes. The dinner including...

Last night sitting here having a beer. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast is plentiful enjoyed the Bulgarian breakfast also. Sadly the aircon apparently blows out only warm air, so had to drop a point. I hate sleeping in a warm room then lying on a night with the windows open and you get the strays barking. Beds comfy...
