I came to stay here when my home was flooded while away on holiday. I live locally and contacted Harry as my home was uninhabitable. He was amazing, he offered me a cottage immediately for myself & my daughter he really was a night in shining armour !! Although my stay was due to awful circumstances, I really enjoyed the...

We chose to stay here for a second time when visiting family in the area. Everything was perfect, from our booking made online from South Africa to our lovely three-bedroomed spacious cottage. Conveniently situated to shopping, and central to a multitude of tourist attractions. Harry Johnson runs a tight ship here, and it is difficult to find anything to fault......

My husband and I stayed at Plawsworth Hall while looking for a house to buy. The apartment was excellent - nice kitchen, lovely lounge and workable bedrooms and bathrooms. We would certainly recommend this spot!

Three bedroom apartment with stunning views. We have been to this place twice and never been disappointed. Mr. Harry and family are managing the site with exceptional care. Highly recommended for couples and families.

A very comfortable and quiet apartment. It is spacious, modern and very well equipped. It is in a good location on a quiet farm but just off the motorway near to Durham and the Beamish Museum. Highly recommended.

I needed a base for visiting friends and family in the area. From Plawsworth I could easily travel in all directions. On a couple of occasions I used public transport - bus stop less than 5 minutes walk away. The apartment had everything I needed and was very clean. The grounds were very well maintained. Had the weather been better...

we have two little girls and we've been back to Plawsworth 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years because it works out great. High quality but simple accommodation with plenty space, warm cottages, travel cots and high chairs on request and great outdoor space including a field that has lambs in the spring where you can feed the...

I stay here almost weekly now whilst on business in the area and so long as Harry has availability, I'd rarely stay anywhere else in the region. The accommodation is spotless, always nice and warm on arrival (important through the winter!), is comfortable and has everything you need. The variation in accommodation type and size means there is something for...

We stayed at Plawsworth for 3 weeks in September and October. As my husband is suffering a life limiting illness, we wanted somewhere his family could come and visit. We were amazed at the beautiful peaceful setting and the quality of the fittings. Nothing was too much trouble for Harry the owner, he did everything possible to make our stay...
