Reached the place after a long and tedious drive from Chandigarh . There was no greeting or pleasantries exchanged at the reception and we walked directly to the restaurant for Lunch . We have been regular at Oberoi’s and this time were staying at the Cecil but wanted our guests from US an experience at the Wildflower. The lunch experience overall was a disappointment . Right from the order taking to the presentation and service were not up to the mark . Felt like the staff was not bothered . The Dal was served in a small bowl without the breads and subsequently when served the Dal became cold . The Non Veg ordered was not up to the mark . Very disappointing experience
We had a great time in this luxurious hotel with a British touch. They have great facilities for sports, high tea, relaxing, dining and exploring. Our room had a great view towards the mountains and the surrounding area is great for a hike. The mostly local staff was very friendly and welcoming. These was so much to explore and enjoy that i did not even get to use the infinity whirlpool facing the mountains - i will be back.
Went for Lunch and like always their service was absolutely dot on and they set very high standards. We had the Trout fish and Spaghetti and both were amazing. The outside sitting on terrace wuth great view was the icing on the cake. Well done Oberois.
This is the first time i travelled with my kids for a mountain holidays and we had a blast there. We had not told kids about the temperature controlled swimming pool and even they had not imagined but they were very happy to see the pool. They even enjoyed the open Jacuzzi. The view from the room was superb and the weather was awesome. Its a must visit place.
This place is epitome of hospitality. Kudos to the staff. Open air jacuzzi is highlight of the hotel. It’s an extra ordinary experience to be taking a hot bath in the middle of woods in a mountain range. Food at the restaurant and it’s ambience is fantastic. Room size and bathroom especially loo is nice but not luxurious as other parts of the hotel.
Amazing team and special thanks to Mr. Sanchit for the extraordinary service we enjoyed at Wildflower. The professionalism and warmth the team exuded made us feel quite at home. Will surely visit this property again and stay for a longer duration.
This property is one gem with out of the world hospitality by Oberoi group. Starting from check in to the activities offered, the food , the jacuzzi with outstanding views - everything was par excellence. The chef took special care of us by catering to our individual needs. Definitely worthy the price.
This was our first Oberoi experience, having stayed at all the brands and it was wonderful, amazing and awesome. Right from Check in till check out everything was exceptional. Each and every member of their staff is well trained, knows how to empathize, and are all professionals. When you step in, it gives a castle type of feel. The welcome is nice, and then they take you straight to your room, and all check in is completed then and there in the room itself, no waiting, no wasting of time, superb. Even a small thing is taken care of, they even ask you if you have any special food requests, or if you want any specific newspaper delivered to you next morning. We traveled for around 9-10 hours from Delhi by our own car, and it was raining that day hence, the car was bit dirty from outside. When we checked out next day, I was surprised to see, the car was cleaned not even from outside but from inside as well. I have stayed at many Luxurious properties and this was the first time, someone bothered about the car. Another small thing however, this shows their level of professionalism and that they care about their guests. The rooms are well maintained, excellent and wonderful options they have in their Minibar to choose from. The swimming pool and change rooms are large and temperature is maintained in the pool, the outstanding part is their Jacuzzi which has a wonderful valley view. In room dinner was awesome, same as what Leela group offers. I would like to name few of their staff members who were professional and excellent, Rahul, Shobhit, Sanchit and everyone else who provided exemplary service. May be you should train the staff at Taj Theog :D I would definitely love to visit this property again, may be for few more days next time :) Its definitely worth every penny.…
Hubby and I have been meaning to stay at wildflower hall for a while now. We have visited the property a number of times for the excellent meals served, but this was our first staycation. The hotel blows you over with it’s old world charm , beautiful interiors and excellent location. The impeccable Oberoi hospitality is in place and the staff goes that extra mile to make you feel welcome and special. The outdoor seating at the restaurant offers stunning views of the beautiful surrounding landscape and we enjoyed some excellent meals here. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, which must be enjoyed The icing on the cake is the nature walk with the naturalist, in the mornings and evenings. This is something that hubby and I really enjoyed ! Wildflower hall, we are definitely coming back!!…
If you can afford it, it’s the place to be. Secluded well away from main Shimla but still near for those who want to just say Hi to Shimla. Service: 4.5/5 Rooms: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Hospitality: 5/5 Activities: 5/5 Green: 5/5 We visited the place for 3N. Was so lucky to have excellent weather. We had the Deluxe Garden View Room. Right from the warm welcome and stay it’s an excellent experience. The room is spacey and super cosy with excellent views of the garden fauna. Our room was 310 on 3rd floors. The room is loaded with amenities and you could ask for anything it would surely be catered to. The property has a wi derail Restaurant and Bar. The Restaurant outside sitting is spectacular. We had meals outside only. In the cold weather they rig up place appropriate coal heaters. Amazing natural warmth. They also have a fireplace in the main lobby. Service has been excellent especially housekeeping. Couldn’t rate them full 5/5 for food as during breakfast when staff are really tested they are a little off at times. Understandable but this is my honest review. We are vegetarians. Expected a little more from food… Indian especially. Their Pizza. Risotto, Soups, Continental was beyond expectation. Do have their artichoke pizza and crispy corn. Now, the best part - the pool! 2 pools, both temp controlled. The outdoor small jacuzzi pool is awesome for couples. 20 mins would be enough in here as you get dehydrated. What I found good was that it is the best Jacuzzi Pool I have come across. You have to be here everyday! There are amazing trails and biking experiences which can be planned and I would say you must do them. Overall I have rated 5/5 cause I really found it to be special and they made up for small mistakes in food and service. Thanking all the staff of Wildflower from the Security to the highest Ranking Manager here for making our stay as romantic and an experience to remember. This should be on your list of properties to visit. They have a good spa but I haven’t used the same .…
