To those who might also don't want to spend 2000 Euros for 2 adults and 2 Kids for 6 days. Because you get youth hostel standard. Welcome: No, nothing no 'Hello' no welcome drink. Key is there! Thats it, for the right way, you have to ask already. Rooms: Basically OK but Children Bed was a torture bench (cheap Sofa from discounter) not even able to put a sheet to 100% over the upholstery. You felt the wooden frame in the back. Even after I ask for improvement it was unable to sleep there. My kids preferred to sleep with me in one bed, so I also had no sleep. Special effect during sleeping is the light switch in the middle of the bed, which you always turns on all lights when you turn around during sleeping. Bathroom: Toilet old and the frame old and brown of unidentifiable material. Tiles 10 Euros per square meter, old and greasy. You might wanna see something more glamouring for 2000 Euros. Breakfast: Not the wow thing, coffee from the filter machine in thermo bottles. Whole breakfast buffet finds place on 6 square meteres. Waiter only 1 for day and night, took everything with I guess it was humor, but basically overloaded. You can order something from the kitchen like Omeletts. Reception: I passed by appr. 20 times and I saw 3 times somebody sitting. I also watched the other guests who where there, they got the same Treatment, nothing. No talks, no how are you, no warmth at all. Resteraunt: In line with the rest no quality for money. Bar: The same, they have a certificate of Gault&Millau from 2005. Defenetly under a different leadership, because it would be impossible to get a white vine from a known discounter. Fitnessroom: More a storage room for broken fitness devices. Could not move, did not work to 40%. Sauna: Greasy in the cellar, no real relax area. I wanna sit on the rooftop with Panorama-Window to the Mountains, not in a stinky cellar dungeon. I pay with pleasure money if I get something for it. But this Hotel, it makes the impression they just want that you stop by and through the money through the door, and disappear silently. If they say ok we don't want to make the effort for a 4 Star Hotel, than it is OK but don't wind the guests up, who are coming to visit Austria. I sleept in various other Hotels for 4 Persons for 60% less and got a better deal. More service, more quality and more personality. A bitty that such a nice house is suffering from a bad leadership.

We stopped in this hotel for lunch food was ok, good price. We didn't wait as the restaurant was empty the whole time we were there. The service would need bit of improvement. Not very attentive and bit rude. Considering we were the only guests he could be less nervous when taking our order, probably took too long for him. Also if you want to pay by card say that in advance. Only one terminal in hotel reception.

This hotel has a good restaurant with a varied menu card. Service is done professionally and efficient. The turkey schnitzel was excellent, although cranberry jam was missing.Dogs are allowed and received water automatically.

I haven't personally stayed in the hotel, but have friends who have, and the hotel seems very nice. Of more relevance I have used the restaurant a few times, and it is very good. Food is very good, traditional rather than exciting but very good nevertheless, service friendly. I would recommend this as a venue for dinner which is much better than many local restaurants. Possibly not the best in the area for excellence or value, but close.
