Small hotel with friendly staff. No Beach, but snorkling is ok. Dinner and breakfast is high standard for 3 stars, also the bungalows are quiet ok. (take a beach side bungi). Staff is very friendly and makes the stay perfect.

Bungalows were very close from each other but clean and well organized inside. Only few bungalows have seeview. No beach and a small pool only - overcrowded around 5pm. Food was the sad point- no fresh fish available which is the pity for rangiroa

The reception deck was friendly and helpful. As for the slow dinning service that was because they had only one waitress for everyone and she was always friendly and overworked. My wife drank the bitter fruit and made sick to her stomach. As you can see the yogurt was served for many days in the same dish. It taken off... More

Two night stay at this well manicured hotel. Good food, accommodations. Limited beach access, nice lagoon view from the beach premium bungalow. Heart shaped pool, bikes for rent, lots of excursions offered. Try the coconut and olive snack at the bar.

We visited Rangiroa in Dec 2015 and had a wonderful vacation with outstanding SCUBA diving (with Y aka Plongee) and a quiet restful stay at Hotel Maitai. We had the best bungalow (Lagoon bungalow #6) which was the furthest from the pool/restaurant area and right on the lagoon. The view was breathtaking and it was very quiet. We would definitely... We stayed four nights in a premium bungalow (no. 10) and found the room comfortable and well positioned with great view of water. AC worked great and water was hot for showers. Fridge could be colder as others have said but worked ok. Disappointed the match huts are plastic and got tired of hitting our heads on the every time... More

The bungalows are just renovated and have each the AC or a big fan. The staff is so friendly that we were half-board. We wanted to go out to lunch one night and the staff agreed friendly to invert the included lunch with one at midday. The sunsets are amazing and the restaurant is protected from the wind and the... We had been wanting to go to Rangiroa for two decades and read all the reviews and just wondered if it would live up to our expectations. It certainly does! Check in is very civilised which we found all Maitai Resorts followed. You take a seat, get a refreshing drink, there is no hurry, Island time. The lagoon bungalows have the... More
