I visited this resort recently and had a wonderful experience. The outdoors had beautiful landscaping, the room was cozy and luxurious, and the staff were courteous and pleasant. They helped us with an itinerary for our trip and arrangements as well. The food was yum with a lot of variety and some of the local produce was used, overall, a stay to remember. A place I would highly recommend for a stay at Corbett. The resort blends luxury with nature in a wonderful way.
...and I‘ve traveled a lot! The rooms are fully equipped and spacious with beautiful furniture, the garden is inviting you to walk and explore and relax, has gazebos and swings, plants are named so you can broaden your knowledge, the lobby invites you to actually stay and play - table tennis, pool table, library, yoga and meditation room etc. The staff is super helpful in organizing trips and walks of all kinds. Everything is thought through and sustainable. The food is to die for and organic, the pool is so very much inviting. Everything is adjacent to the Jim Corbett National Park.
Aahana the Corbett Wilderness is right next to Corbett National Park and unlike many wildlife resorts that are barebones, Aahana offers luxury while being ecofriendly and taking care of nature around it. The rooms and cottages are designed keeping in mind a well travelled guest who likes luxury but is conscious of there carbon footprint, thus offering best of both worlds. Kids will love there wonderful pool and bird watching sessions with the resident naturalist. You can see countless local and migrant birds in the resort. The multi cuisine restaurant offers good choices and staff is friendly and well trained. What I like the most was that they have 1000s of trees growing on the resort which are home to countless birds and insects species so you get to see them from close quarters. If you are traveling with kids you must take them to there award winning sewage treatment plant and the organic garden for them to experience nature friendly practices first hand. Overall a wonderful place to stay with many activities to do when you come back from the national park from lazing around the pool to join yoga session or just sit in your balcony and watch birds around you.…
Well we visited just sometimes back and after paying 50k for 2 nights I expected something really special...which actually was not the case .. Good memories- property is beautiful..full of nature, multiple types of trees and birds and very well maintained. Hospitality was nice at uper level. Food was tasty and the spread for breakfast, high tea and dinner was nice.. they have a good kids play area and a pool where kids usually enjoy.. they plan for some live music during high tea or dinner or both.. Not so good memories - everything except the meals was chargeable ..like they keep a tandoori snacks counter near pool during dinner time which is chargeable for no reason Staff was confused ..my room was knocked 2 times ..once a staff came with someone else's car key and luggage saying it's ours... 2nd time one staff came to check us out and asked for luggage when it was actually not our check out day.. Staff at lower level needs training for hospitality. rooms are big but no bath tub in a 5 star .....door locks are old fashioned and are opene with key and not card So in short I will conclude by saying that the property is worth spending max 1 night if u get a good deal.. the next day u may need to explore things outside the resort to pass ur time ... If ur only going for relaxation then it's a nice place but way to expensive if u compare with what they offer…
