One of the best stay options if you are visiting the Jim Corbet national park. I went there for a weekend getaway with my wife. The resort offers everything for a perfect relaxing weekend, from a super clean pool to relaxing spa and a great restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. All that while being situated in the middle of the forest. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The huge size of the property makes it perfect for destination weddings as well as for other group events. Will surely visit again with a large group of friends.

From the ambience to the flora to the pool to the rooms to the food to spa, the resort gives you everything that you can ask for a relaxing weekend. You go with ‘baggage’ on your hands & head literally but when you return there are only memories to cherish inside your head. True scenic beauty situated in the lap of mother nature nearby to the Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve Garjiya zone. With the Kosi river flowing towards the backside of the resort in its full glory, you get the ultimate riverside experience! The rooms are fitted with the best-in-class amenities that make your stay even more worthwhile. The hotel staff is always at your service to make sure that no trivial issues spoil your mood or stay. Their welcoming nature and prompt service ensures your stay is convenient. There is a fun room for you to spend the spare time with options of Table tennis, Pool table, carrom etc. No compromises on the quality and taste of food. The range of dishes available is amazing. The buffet system for the three meals of a day make sure you eat what you desire and have a range of options to choose from. There are always starters to trigger your appetite, main course to fill your belly and desserts to sweeten up your whole meal. There are some or other events always happening inside the premises of the resort like the time we visited during the Independence Day weekend where we had the opportunity to witness flag hoisting ceremony by two brave retired officers of our armed forces. Folk Dances, Live singing performances further glittered our comfortable stay. There are huge lawns for the events and for even you to take a stroll around or just play random games with the kids. All in all, I can say if you want to spend a soothing weekend off the hustle-bustle of your busy metro city lives, just give a visit to Wood Castle Spa & Resort, you won’t go disappointed!

This was our (family of 3) first trip to Corbett NP. Reaching to Wood Castle, Ramnagar wasn't a big deal (from Delhi in September). And this place (the Wood Castle) is so green and serene, pleasant burbles of the river stream at the backyard followed by the rich green mountains will detoxify your lungs and rejuvenate your soul. The cottage structure is beautiful, it will give you a feeling of being in the lap of the mother nature and the inside amenities were of great value, spacious room, flawless wi-fi connectivity. And to mention so many options available for recreational activities within the campus irrespective of age, you name it and you see it. Weekends have special arrangements too. Staffs were so down to earth, how will not be the services outstanding (even personal requests were assisted with great care). A good variety of nutritious food with amazing flavours and great taste is available for all ages. Although our Safari to Gate Girja was called off due to rain but then our Safari Guide Mr Ravi Kandpal (#8791847667) toured us to the Corbett landscape in the morning 6 to 9:30am and we witnessed so many deer (3 varieties). Being a localite and his ancestral inheritance of this profession, he is a practical and responsible safari rider with immense knowledge of his domain. In the noon time we rode to the Marchula Waterfall, Bhavankaal (kaath ki naal), the sunset point (top of the mountain rich in pine woods), Girja temple, Dhikala Gate Museum (is a must visit). And as Ms Minaxi said that I will be surprised with the arrangements. Thank you will be too under weigh! I am mesmerised with my this trip, and I look forward to visit soon and to recommend to one and all I know. To conclude with, I must say that the photos uploaded on the website of Wood Castle although are of HD quality but the beauty you will witness with your naked eyes could never be picturised (digitalised).

This is the worst resort I have ever seen. Only thing which ia good is taste of food. Service is pathetic . staff is rude. They don't care about the clients. Hygiene is not up to the mark. Every room has a seapage smell. There are lof of monkeys which roams around in resort and no one from the staff takes care of them and with kids it is a quite scary. For water they provide complimentary bisleri mineral water but they will not give you the same bottle after that. They have only himalayan water bottle for the paid case. I think the water should be same for both compimentary and the paid. Finally I am sharing the image of RO water machine which they use for providing water. I don't think I need to tell you anything after this :)

Located on the banks of kosi river wood castle resort offers about 65 rooms , pool , banqueting and a common dining hall. Amazingly the resort is pet friendly and the pets have ample amount of space and greenery to have fun. We stayed in the resort for 3 nights and had group from all ages. Reason I rated 3 is we were a asked to change our room thrice due to strong paint smell in the rooms and this is despite having a prior resrvation. The rooms require deep cleaning the bathrooms were superficially cleaned , linen in the dining hall smelt of varied curries , ice buckets were chargeable, not ample amount of parking space , usually the resorts/hotels provide driver accomodations but this was absent here, the staff in the dining hall are courteous but after a while will bother you for tips indirectly, should be more trained. The food is good and prepared fresh , they have a good variety of morning breakfast and dinner buffet. The view from the pool and lawns is serene and detoxing. At 8 k plus taxes I felt like there could be more value added to the experience. Probably they don’t have repeat guests so the above issues won’t be addressed and eventually these issues will start impacting

I loved the hotel and the staff were very helpful. I attended a wedding and stayed here for 5 days ... I loved the place and the staff were very helpful .. they provided me with baby food ... As i was there with my 2 yrs old baby ... Overall experience was very good ... I gave 3 star out of 5 just because of the washroom .. though the washrooms were clean but the continuous foul smell was there in few washrooms

We stayed in the resort from 15th to 18th October,2020. The Resort is very well located on the main road itself and still no noise/nuisance of the traffic since the resort is full of cottages & well maintained gardens where you can spend your time, have your meals in the lawn, walk around etc. Kosi river is flowing on the back end of the Resort. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. One can always tell Chef Jagdish Prasad to prepare dishes of one's choice 30-40 minutes before lunch/dinner. He is a humble ,cooperative and a great cook. Must try Kumaon cuisine. The other Resort staff is also very nice and cooperative. Had a wonderful time and I rate it as excellent. The Resort staff is taking due care for Covid19. Sanitizers were installed at the Reception and Food Hall. Rooms were sanitized at the time of our stay and as and when required.

Visited with my team n had a two day conference there. Well maintained n beautiful property adjoining to Kosi river. rooms are big n comfortable. Check-in n Check-out was very smooth n efficient. Food quality is good but food arrangement was done in a large conference hall as their main restaurant was under renovation which also created lots of disturbance in our conference as our meeting was going in the conference room below the restaurant. Enjoyed live music in the evening n sports in the morning. Swimming pool services and few staff behaviour needs improvement.

Let’s start from booking experience. I picked number from their website and spoke to them and got quite good deal. We booked Duplex room as we are 4 members in the family. The booking person is quite helpful and prompt in response. Looking at the resort premises, I won’t rate the resort as 5 star. There are several opportunities in terms of reception/ entrance view. Also I didn’t find that level of pampering from waiters/ manager. That doesn’t mean it was bad. The room interiors were good and nicely maintained. The food quality was really good but it was quite costly if you go for ala carte. The house keeping and room service etc were quite prompt. The premise has fun zone and several other activity to engage residents. It has very nice river side walkway and quite romantic as well. I wish there is arrangement to go down to river side but that doesn’t influence my rating in any way. Overall it was worth spending time with family in that resort.
