It was a wonderful 3 days and 2 nights stay at High Season Pool Villa & Spa Koh Kut.
We found this island paradise through the recommendations of our friends. After hearing many positive reviews, we could no longer hold on to our temptation so we had decided to go ahead and made the reservation directly with the hotel. And I can still truly say that we were so satisfied with our decision. The hotel offers a much better package deal than on other booking sites and the price we paid included the round-trip ferry ticket from Leam Sok Pier to Koh Kut. Thank you Mr Thanadech, The Reservation Manager, for preparing everything prior our arrival.
Once we had arrived at Koh Kut, we were greeted by Mr Benz (Sorry if I misspelled your name), a trainee at High Season. He then explained a little bit about the arrival whilst offering us a nice cold bottle of water and fresh towels. It took us approximately 25 minutes to reach the hotel.When we had arrived, all the hotel staffs welcomed us with flower garlands and smiley faces before showing us around the property (The place is massive and there are many facilities including restaurants, library, gym, and its famous spa).
We were booked into a spacious villa with a private salted swimming pool. It was very private, quiet and peaceful, all we could hear was the songs singing by the birds. Inside the room, they have prepared a nice basket of local fruits which were very juicy and delicious. The bed was so comfortable that we would like to lay there all day and doing nothing.
All the staffs were so attentive and helpful, especially Khun A who asked us every morning at breakfast if everything was okey and if there was anything we would like.
For anyone who is reading my review, you do not have to believe me, try it yourself then you will understand that the heaven does exist in real.

Stayed here in January for 2 weeks and fell in love with the place!
The hotel comprises 41 pool villas set in lovely gardens and fronting the most spectacular beach with white sand and crystal clear warm sea. Paradise on Earth.
Read all the reviews before arrival and a few people complain about the language barrier with the staff, which yes is a bit of a problem, but they are from the island and are learning English. They are so gracious and helpful though you would forgive them anything. Also I read someone said the rooms were tired, well we thought our room was utterly fabulous, huge bath with wonderful lemongrass products, walk in shower, super comfortable bed with heaps of pillows, and a great plunge pool. Nothing to complain about. Ok they do turndown at 3pm which is rather annoying, but just ask them to do it later and they will oblige. We stayed in room 308 and it was nice & private.
Great food in the restaurants, especially the Thai food, and there are plenty of cheap eateries nearby too if you fancy a change. Breakfast good with excellent fruit choice and hot & cold selection plus fresh coconuts and a juice bar.

Our second time staying here. Clean, spacious and nicely decorated villas. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, nothing was ever too much for us to ask. We only ate in one night, the food was a good standard and a great atmosphere being able to dine on the beachfront. Breakfast is very good for western and non-western.
The resort is located on a fantastic beach which brings me to my only negative comment about the resort. For some reason at this resort, they do not remove the coconuts from the trees along the beachfront, both where guests sit on the beach and also in the area where some of the beach chairs are located. I have witnessed on two separate visits to this resort a coconut fall within two metres of a guest. I did mention this to the manager on our previous visit, but it seems that nothing was done. We also mentioned this to the manager on our most recent visit. If you walk along the beach you will find that all the other resorts have had the coconuts removed from the trees on their beachfront. I’m really not sure why this resort does not do the same. Please fix this before someone is seriously injured or worse!

Im not the kind to let reviews but this time it’s too much. First impression was really good, but it last 30 minutes. The staff is very welcoming for check in, and after it’s terrible. No one is speaking English there so it last 15 min just for order a simple drink, and the first restaurant if the hotel experience was the worst of my life. Made me sick me and my girlfriend. The most terrible it’s the price for it!! I understood after why the restaurant was empty all the time. All the alcool are cut with 50% water, so even a simple martini is disgusting because they cut it with water from the tap. beers are so full of water they are not frothy at all they can serve it straight without any bulb it’s crazy I never saw a scam like that. And it’s even more expensive than price in Paris... and even the island is a garbage, jungle is full of plastics bottle and garbage everywhere so many times even when you find a nice beach it’s smelling like you’re behind a garbage truck but there is no garbage truck! Terrible experience go to a eco responsable country your holidays will be much much better. Here tourists are just a way to make easy money.

We didn't use the spa because no manicure or pedicure is offered. All in all, we had a great time and saw a lot of the island on the hotel's own mopeds (300 THB per day). We can only recommend it in high season, but the beach towels need to be discarded.

My family and I travelled to High Seasons Koh Kut during winter season, we were greeted with an exceptionally warm welcome by the staff at the resort; they provided us with complementary drinks before guiding us to our rooms. Throughout the entire stay, the staff were really friendly and helpful and this created a warm and cordial environment that essentially differentiated this resort from other high-end resorts positively. The bathroom was spacious and the bedroom was carefully planned out so that the living space and the bed area were separated clearly. The galaxy pool lived up to its name and delivered a marvelous view of the ocean and sunset. Every aspect of the resort surpassed my expectations but the hospitality of the staff made the stay an even more memorable experience. My family and I got considerably close to the resort employees Pen and Pupe. They are amazing people and we our small talks with them. Overall an amazing experience and definitely a place that I'll be frequently revisiting from now on :)).

If you feel their room rate is acceptable for you, you can blindly choose this resort on Ko Kood. We stayed here for one week, inspected other good resorts on the island, and found High Season to be the best after all. Location, beach, beautiful garden, spacious pool villas, quality service, warm smiles and everyday free desert before bed - everything is good here. However, there are some things that may be improved. High Season Management attention, please)) 1. They forgot to pick us up from the pier. The person of the staff, who contacted me about pick up arrangements, disappeared and did not make any apology. 2. Breakfast could be more varied and better quality for such a good resort. 3. Bath towels could be washed better and smell better. 4. There are no beach umbrellas, and one hardly can find some shadow on the beach, but you want to find it sometimes. The resort is beautifully and lovingly designed and planted. Each bungalow has its own entrance and is relatively well planted for more privacy. Our room was large and very open so that you didn't feel cramped and could really relax. The shower and bathtub were also suitable for tall people. Bath salts and a skin scrub were placed in the bathtub. Room service was there every day and always left us cookies. The staff is courteous and friendly. We had hired a kayak tour to the waterfall and were guided by a very friendly employee who we had a lot of fun with. He also spoke very good English. I can only criticize a few things because the food/drinks/massage etc. are excessively expensive there. We had problems with the TV because we couldn't connect our iPhone and therefore couldn't use Netflix because I won't be using my own. I'm very sad that we're leaving because it was a great, unforgettable stay and I would love to come back.
