We were there in April and stayed in an ocean view room without aircon (just a fan) and the sea breeze was enough. If you stay in one of the huts further inland I imagine it would be worth it. Get an ocean view room as it's amazing plus the monkeys run along the rocks underneath every evening. Also get a massage from Mrs B she's a wonderful woman and definitely the best thai massage you will get. She really knows her stuff.
