This hotel must have been the pride of the city when new; the staff told me (in Thai) it was more than ten years old, but it has the look of the 1970s or 1980s and still looks very impressive. The construction is very solid, it has a grand lobby and dining room and the bedrooms are larger than found...

This hotel is very old and worn. Rooms and the whole hotel smells badly of cigarette smoke. Overpriced and badly in need of renovation. Planned to stay three nights but could only put up with one. The only good thing about it was the fast wi-fi.

The Roiet City Hotel is okay. The rooms are okay, and the place could use a face lift. Nothing to do in the hotel, but has a free buffet breakfast. No swimming pool. Just behind the hotel is a restaurant called The White Elephant which I enjoyed.

Check in was efficient and friendly by a virtually non English speaking lady. The room was ok until a fuse blew so I had to change room without any problem. The air con was very noisy and not very efficient.Good supply of toiletries in the bathroom and the bed was comfortable and water supply for shower was ok.I skipped the free breakfast...

Certainly seen better days. This may have been a good hotel when it was new, but nothing has been upgraded. Everything was visibly old --there were tears in the curtains and sheets. The bed was old andthe pillows hard. Towels threadbare. Thankfully we were there for only a night.

This is an old style Grand Hotel that has not been kept up to date. It still has visiting dignitaries stay there but they have to cope with sealed windows and poor air conditioning . Some rooms have hot water for their baths and showers so if this is important to you ask at reception whilst booking in. Breakfast is...

This is such a beautiful old hotel but its in much need of some TLC, air cond hardly worked and you wernt sure if youd have hot water. With some TLC this place would be like living in royalty . Please fix it up it would be so worth it

To be fair the hotel was about what I expected it to be. Checkin was fairly quick for our group and we were soon in our room which was a relief as the hotel lobby was not air conditioned and was extremely hot. The room had not changed for the last 20 years, everything was original. I guess we were...

I'll start the review with the positives. I found the room standard in this hotel to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel is very centrally located near Roi Et center. 900THB per night should not ruin anybody's budget. Now to not so positive sides. Much of the staff do not speak any English. I took the BIG "keychain" that doubles...

Given the wrong room on arrival told we'd have to wait till the next day. Got given the new room which had just been vacated to find there was no hot water, reported it and was told to wait an hour. Complained and was given a new room as we had been out all day and still no hot water...
