Situated in the Western Usambaras; which is part of a World Biodiversity hotspot.Recommended for Irente is ideal for visitors looking to experience nature hikes in an interesting environment. Irente Biodiversity Reserve Accommodation at Irente offers 5 different types of accommodation within the Reserve which can accommodate 17 people.1. Mkuyu lodge is a self catering lodge with 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. There is a lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Rates include farm breakfast. 2.The newly opened Mshinga self-catering lodge , sleep 4 people, dining-,sitting room and fully equipped kitchen and verandah with a with a gorgeous view.No meals included in the rate. But can be ordered. 3. Tambwe room accommodates 2 to 3 people. Rates include half board; breakfast and dinner. 4. Mkindu room a small double room. Rates include halfboard; breakfast and dinner. 5. Mshai rondavel a double room. Rates include half board; breakfast and dinner. 5.Camp Site.Meals can be ordered.

Awesome place with friendly people and amazing food! Great for hiking in the mountains as well as just relaxing away from the all the big city chaos. Also really interesting to do a farm tour and see how the farm operates. Highly recommended!
