Camel does some things well - the bunks are a good size with plenty of headroom, and individual power points and lights, the interior design has character, the location is OK. The staff are friendly. But more things are bad - we booked a double room but they'd overbooked that so we had a 4 bed dorm to ourselves (once they'd kicked somebody else out of it). The wifi and internet are unreliable and slow (this may not be their problem as internet is slow everywhere in Xinjiang). When there is water, which there wasn't all the time, the pressure is low - sometimes just a dribble. There is no aircon so our room was hot, but the street is noisy, so you can either be cooler but can't sleep because of the noise or quieter but can't sleep because of the heat. But more than anything else the whole place is filthy, not only the layers of dust that build up easily in a place like Kashgar - although they covered every surface, but huge clumps of dried on hair on the bathroom floor, and basin and mirror that hadn't been cleaned in weeks. With basic maintenance and cleaning this could be a nice place, but it's not at the moment.…

We stayed here back to summer time 2013. This is a new hostel opened for just less than a year when we visited. The whole building is designed to a traditional style with tranquilo atmosphere. The owner, staff are sometimes volunteers there are all super friendly and helpful. Location is just next to a historical area in Kashi. There are others YHA hostels in Kashi which has a long history, but to be frank, I visited some of them and they are a bit worn-out and need some maintenance...

讓人自在的青旅!! 位於高台民居入口處旁；離東巴札走路3分鐘；雖不在老城區中心，走路到大清真寺也頂多10~15分鐘，從喀什機場或火車站都有巴士可以搭到青旅附近，就交通來說位於要塞但又沒老城的擁塞。喜歡青旅的自在的氣氛；明亮的樓梯；乾淨的房間，當然親切的老闆和友善的員工是一家成功青旅不可或缺的。青旅的門口有一間小小的清真寺，週五下午三點可以看到穆斯林祈禱的"聚禮"，青旅過個馬路就是土陶巴札，有間較大的清真寺，是人潮眾多的聚禮之處。
