After 3 months of traveling in China, Kashgar is one of my favorite, most unique places and it is nice to find this hostel right in the center of old town Kashgar. Kashgar is a wonderful place. You also get a first hand experience how the Chinese government treats local, minority populations. The hostel, like much of China, offers some...

Kashgar Old Town Youth Hostel Stayed for 2 nights in Sep 2016, in private room without ensuite. Good: a) Location, Location, Location: Great location, smack right in the middle of Kashgar Old Town, 5 min stroll to Id Kah Mosque, 3 min to a confluence of roads in Old Town Kashgar where almost everything available in Kashgar are available here,...

The location of the youth hostel is perfect, just inside the old town. The bed is cheap, helpful front desk, can meet a lot of new friend. They serve drink including beer and lunch and diner, the price is reasonable.

What an awesome place. I wrote another review about a hostel in Singapore and what it lacked. Well, this place has that special something. The rooms look dated and run down, the beds aren't particularly comfortable. But this is no ordinary hostel. It's run like a family home, where you probably wouldn't be able to tell who the guests are...

My husband and I stayed here twice in two different rooms. The first room we had was in the main building. The room was very basic with two beds, a fan, and stone floors. The bed was a bit hard but the sheets were clean and at the end of a long day, all we wanted to a place to...

Rooms and facilities are very basic. Cleanliness is a bit of a hit-or-miss. But well within the realm of expectation, I would say. Any traveller should expect this level of discomfort staying in youth hostel in a city like Kashgar. What makes it worthwhile is the location. Just stepping out of the hostel, you are smack in the middle of...

We stayed 4 days in thi lovely hostel in the old Kashgar. Best place if you want to meet fellow foreign travellers (met few people who said they relocated here after trying other hostels). The staff is also very helpfull, and we took a highly recommanded 2days trip to the KKH with them. The patio is good for socializing and...

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, great location, nice atmosphere in the patio. If you have experienced other hostels in Xinjiang, you don't expect too much from the quality of the facilities. However, the new rooms/dorms in the next building are quite better (beds, toilets, etc) and cleaner (even pricier) than the old ones over the patio. In the peak season...

Located in the (rebuild) old town of Kashgar, this charming youth hostel is perfectly located in walking distance of pretty much everything you want to see in town. The staff was young and very friendly as well as helpful when required. Relax in the summer's heat in the inner patio and enjoy the atmosphere of this building with a local...

This is the place to stay in Kashgar. It is situated right in the heart of the old town. The hostel is good value for money and the staff are helpful. We really liked the courtyard where we were able to meet other travelers. We booked a private room which was a decent size. The beds are a little hard...
