We found the hotel very good and it met all our requirements. Staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel is centrally located and next to People's park, although for some reason it was roped off. The large statue of Chairman Mao is opposite Peoples Park. Like elsewhere in Xinjiang there was a large police presence, although this made you feel safe,...

The position in central Kashgar is perfect, right beside the Peoples Park, and our front facing room looked down on the large statue of Chairman Mao. The night market and the shopping area are within an easy walk. You will see large numbers of riot police on standby in the park area. They did not really impinge on us, although...

I was surprised to read others' negative comments as I found the hotel bright, clean and with very clean bedrooms. I also thought breakfast was very varied (though I'd agree that it didn't cater to Western tastes) and could get very packed However, the central location is a great advantage. As far as I can see, nobody else has highlighted...

This is actually the Business hotel, downtown. The international hotel (owned by the same group) is a different hotel. We stayed one night here. Beds were clean (though rock hard), but that's the only thing that was. Dirty bathtub, carpets, walls. We asked to be changed to their other hotel (though the location isn't as convenient) and they very graciously...

Location is good and central in Kashgar. Rooms are not clean, hears, stains in carpet etc. Staff (at the front desk) dont speak any english and are not helpfull if you want to ask something. Service is ignorent and not worth the 4☆ in my opinion.

Located within walking distance to Gaotai ancient homes, Id Kah mosque and handicraft street. Rooms are clean although the carpets do need to be replaced. Beds rock hard but I'm told this is normal in Chinese hotels. Reinterate what others have said that it is not setup for fussy westeners.

We stayed here with a group and found the hotel to be well placed for many tourist sights and amenities. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast catered for local clients and as an "international" hotel, was not best suited to western tastes. You will need to be present early for breakfast, however, as none of the items...

The hotel has one great advantage - it is located next to the main square in Kashgar (Kashi) close to parkland and the Mao statue and a short walk to many other attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean with all modern conveniences, including a kettle. I found the hotel reception staff to be friendly but they have little or...

A good three stars hotel near the Mao statue. We had booked a double room but needed to pay extra (20 USD per night ) for a double luxury room since twin rooms were standard. Pro's: Large size room with king size bed Bath robes and slippers available Water cooker available Fridge (but not working) Good view (but no so...
