This small rural auberge (only 4 rooms) is truly a wonderful find - the type of overnight stop which we always hope to discover but very rarely find. Everything about it is delightful. . Rooms are charming and stylishly decorated and the beds are hugely comfortable. Bathrooms are up to date and sparkling and, unusually tea and coffee making facilities...

A small family run Logis with a warm welcome in a beautiful area of the Auvergne. We had the family room with well equipped bathroom for the two of us. Dinner was on the terrace with views to the Puy de Dome. A variety of delicious home cooked regional dishes. Breakfast again on the terrace comprised home made breads and...

Chose this hotel as halfway stop on journey from south of France. Situated in peaceful, rural France with lovely views of the volcanos. Run by two sisters and their mother who gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was large and well appointed with a super bathroom/shower room. Everything seemed to be home made and we dined well, both...

This out-of-the-way-auberge is run by a mother and her two daughters. Plus cosy rooms, and a great old-fashioned diningroom with an enormous open fire. Everything home made, from jam to bread, eggs from the henhouse, and they cook a marvellous dinner. Good housewine, not so elaborate winelist.

Great simple food and comfortable rooms. The location is very peaceful and the family running it is very friendly and welcoming. Only 4 rooms, so no problems with other guests crashing around and spoiling the tranquility! Tea, coffee and a kettle provided which is unusual for French hotels.

The Auberge is in the middle of nowhere, which means is was wonderfully quiet. The room was really nice, decorated in a very modern style. The bed was very comfortable and had good quality linen and pillows. The bathroom was great - a huge walk-in shower. The food was simple, honest Auvergne food, but very well done - Pounti and...
