Saint Estephe is at the north part of the Medoc wine region and so it feels like a great escape away from it all and yet in and amongst all the vineyards of this great appellation. Here you get to stay in the home of the previous owner of the Château. Authentic decor. Delicious

Giles (the manager) is very accommodating and I'm sure if you emailed in advance and asked for dinner to be cooked on one of the nights you stayed he would do his best to arrange it. It is a set menu and was very reasonably priced and you could also purchase wine from the Chateau cellar or bring your own.
