My expectations exceeded what I expected. Pleasent trip to the lodge and easy to find . if you have a low car , drive slowly along the gravel road , in parts a bit rocky due to recent rains. Shaun called n the day to ask if we wanted to go to a bigger unit as it had come available....

We booked really late and the host was so welcoming. The log cabins are in a beautiful setting and it was peaceful and lovely. We spent time in the morning looking around the farm and the wood wrokshop which was interesting. Next time we be back for some fishing. We loved it!

The lodgings themselves are not bad. Very secluded and beautiful views but our feeling of security ended at around 11 on the second night when we were burgled while sleeping.. Woke up to an enormous crash and lost everything in the line of keys, Id's, credit cards, bank cards and cash.. This was definitely well planned.. They knew exactly where...

We were here for 1 night and stayed in 2 cabins. We arrived at night and driving over the rocky dirt road to reach the place was quite an experience. The view of the lake was great. What lets this place down is the actual cabin. It is dark and dingy. Furniture is old.... and dark. When we arrived the...

We stopped over there for the night and the owners were very nice and accommodating as we arrived late in the evening. The place is nice and clean and the view of the dam very tranquil. A lovely stop over, we would stop over there again. 2km gravel road drive to get there, but nothing hectic, the place is worth...

A truly relaxing experience and recharge to your soul (and your marriage). If you need to take a breather from a hectic life, this would be the place. I would recommend the Rainbow Lodge for its easy access to Dullstroom, friendly staff and well equipped log cottage. We loved the wood burning stove and the beautiful views! Planning to go...

The cottages are lovely log style and well equiped. The views are brillaint and the wildlife is special. We had a small duiker come to drink...

This place provided an absolutely excellent stay near Dullstroom. With a view of the ocean and an indoor fireplace, one really could not ask for more in a lodge. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

My Twin, Lyn Hood of Edenvale, Gauteng, treated me to a stay overnight in this absolutely magnificent place. It was so peaceful, beautiful and tranquil. I wish we could have stayed longer. The black and white kitty, Gerry, was the most loveable and friendly kitty and Lyn and I found it hard not to take him home with us! The...

With a late evening flt from Joburg, we needed an overnight stay before the car journey down the N4 .having been to the Kruger. We found Rainbow on the internet, at a good price. Just outside Belfast and down a sandy road, we found a little oasis of peace. Some wooden chalets , mainly for fishermen and occasional tourist/business visitors....
