Detailed Reviews
We always stop here on our way to Austria because it is very close the the highway. Also because they are quick and the menu is rich with both “Italian as Austrian dishes” as in Sud Tirol, the quality is alright. Good value for money. Clean rest rooms and nice personnel!
Excellent for a quick dinner on a travel

Absolutely a fantastic place to make a stopover. We had a top level room with a view to the mountains, the river and in general just a spectacular setting. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the food was good and the underground parking was very handy.
The only minor issues was, which was not really an issue, the trains passing just below the hotel and the missing fridge in the room.
We can highly recommend this Gasthof for anyone needing a stopover or a base camp for exploring the mountains.

I'm visiting from Australia. The hotel is very German, the rooms lovely. Ours overlooked the town with a train very close by but the door was great at making it quiet. The waitress in the restaurant gave me an English menu and dinner and breakfast was great too.

We stopped in during our road trip. I don't usually expect much from hotel restaurants, but this place surprised me. We had chicken cordon bleu, the spinach ravioli, schnitzel with mushrooms, baked chicken, and bread. Each plate was superb! We were all very impressed.

My wife and I were with a party of Choir members for concerts in the South Tyrol area and we stayed at the Brunner Hof from Wednesday 22nd June through to departure on Sunday 26th July. Our room was on the first floor with lots of room and also a balcony which was extensive and stretched along the front and side of the hotel with excellent views of the mountains and surrounding beautiful scenery. The room was wonderfully clean and also linen etc was new each day. The Food served in the restaurant was typically German which we both love and service was rapid and quality of food both for breakfast and dinner was outstanding. Although on a roundabout with busy traffic we had no problem in sleeping after some very exhausting days singing in the mountains. We were so impressed we will return separately to enjoy the same facilities but this time during a winter setting.

With our hotel in Brixen overbooked, they had arranged this excellent hotel a little bit further south in Tirol on our way fom Munich (München) to Florence (Firenze) for our group of nearly 50, mostly elderly. Just a bit out of way from the Autobahn located in a spot with a great view to the Alps and the valleys.

the hotel is 2 km from Klaussen Chiusa, a very quaint ancient village. It's handy to the autostrade (if your brakes fail at the exit you'll run right into it). It also sits right next to a main north south rail line. Our room on the top floor north end had a large balcony overlooking the autostrade exit. Having said all that, the room was very quiet and comfortable. Next time though I think we'll look for something down in the village.

Dear guest, thank you for your rating. We try to do always our best. Our hotel is located very central to get in the nearest valleys (Gardena Valley, Funes Valley, Bressanone, Velturno....). Possibly we can organise for you the next time a taxi to get in the centre of Chiusa. We hope to welcome you again as our guests. Best regards. Fam. Brunner

The bar in this building ... I certainly do not recommend it ... super expensive 2 cappuccinos and two brios almost 10 euros....
Maybe because we leaned on a table instead of eating at the counter? I do not know if this is the reason but it seems really exaggerated if understood again around here I will definitely turn away

Hotel conveniently located at the motorway exit. Fairly large rooms, no minibar and therefore no water bottles, but above all bathroom without bidet (and you can see it in most photos) which the reception says is only present in the new part so be careful when booking. Why aren't rooms without bidets intended only for foreign customers since they are used to not having one? Decent room cleaning, the "seal" for sanitizing the toilet is missing. The terrace is beautiful even if the train passing underneath is a bit disturbing. Dinner included in the half board with a choice of two first courses, two second courses and a fixed dessert: decent but nothing special. Breakfast buffet in a very narrow corner of the room so it follows that a long queue forms to serve yourself. Friendly reception staff.

A carafe of tap water, 4.50 euros. Objectively unacceptable, a negative Guinness Book of Records. You can't make fun of customers in such a blatant way. Absolutely avoid. Normal food, of average quality, but with a number like that they enter the top list of summer rip-offs.
