We had a lovely stay with our 2 year old daughter in the Housekeepers cottage in September last year . It was comfortable and well equipped. We were surrounded by stunning countryside and not far from the coast. The games room was very welcome in the wet weather too. Our daughter loved meeting the animals and we would highly recommend this beautiful place for a family stay in incredible surroundings with very friendly hosts. John, Julia & Sophia
Our second holiday at Tremaine Green this year staying in the well equipped Blacksmiths Cottage, Ideal location for exploring Cornwall. Dog friendly with an enclosed exercise field. Just a perfect place to stay highly recommended.

Just got home from a week in tremaine Green holiday cottages. 4th to 11th Sept 2021. To sum up our cottage, (housekeepers). One bedroom cottage with covered parking. Fully equipped kitchen, small lounge with an electric fire and TV and dvd player, roomy bedroom with storage area, and ornate comfortable double bed. Bathroom with shower over the bath and an airing cupboard which kept the upstairs warm. Table and 2 chairs for outdoor eating and large fenced field to the rear to walk the dog. When we arrived we were made welcome by Justin, the owner who goes out of his way to help and the cottage was spotlessly clean and is equipped to meet all your needs. There was 'first night' supplies so you can make a cuppa and settle in. We had friends join us for a meal and although a bit tight we managed. The kitchen has an oven and microwave, toaster, fridge with small freezer and of course a kettle, all completely spotless. Our second time here but a different cottage and we will go back, there is a loyalty scheme for repeat bookings Wife and I loved it there and we will be back Thank you Justin and see you next time....…

We took my elderly mother to Tremaine Green. We had a lovely break and the cottage was lovely warm and cosy. Bedlinin very soft with soft pillows. Very warm welcome and nothing too much trouble. Beautiful grounds and ideal for families with pets for stunning walks etc. All in all a really nice break despite the english weather. Will definitely be going back.
We took our 2 dogs who loved it !!! Penny and Justin are so lovely they couldn’t do enough. The cottages are so homely and we’ll equipped and perfect location will defiantly be returning and highly recommend had a lovely holiday oh and rufus is amazing !!!!
Had another wonderful stay at tremaine green, our 5th. The cottages are so quaint and full of character, very well equipped and so comfortable, love the four poster beds and wood burners. The surroundings are idyllic and so well kept, stayed in the farmhouse and so nice waking up in the morning and listening to birdsong and seeing the shetland ponies grazing in their field. Justin and Penny are so helpful and friendly the perfect hosts. We have brought many family members to tremaine green over the years and they have all fallen in love with it like we did on our first visit. Wouldn't want to holiday anywhere else.
We stayed at Tremaine Green as a family of 5 in one cottage, and our parents in another, for one week, just as the country was beginning to open up to tourism again.(covid). We were met by Penny, in full PPE (post change over), Rufus the dog and Justin. I think half of the site’s guests had turned up at the earliest time possible, but rather than being stressful, it seemed like a swaithe of relieved caged animals had arrived to be given a sense of freedom in a wonderful setting! We stayed in the Farmhouse Cottage, which was spacious, comfortable and had room to seat our parents for dinner both inside and outside for meals. The beds were noisy, and a bit wobbly, but weren’t “unsleepable.” Our stay wasn’t without hiccup (fire in the chimney thanks to Jack Daw nests) but Justin was on hand and we felt comforted knowing the owners were on site and had a genuine want for us to have a pleasant stay. The Covid safe guidelines had clearly been adhered to, so we also felt safe in that regard. Tremaine Green doesn’t offer a huge amount for children, the animals were sweet, but the tired Play area and mini golf didn’t really hold much appeal to our children (3, 7 & 9), however we also didn’t want to stay somewhere where the facilities were so good they were crammed with kids all day everyday, so perhaps the balance is about right. The little hamlet is ideally placed if you like to discover hidden coves rather than more commercialised beaches, and the local village, Pelynt, offered not just a couple of shops for supplies but a fabulous doggy daycare centre where we left our dog for a day so we could head out on the bikes. We’d happily stay again if Cornwall didn’t offer so many more gems to discover!…
