We were looking for a place relatively close to Bastia's airport and out in the country. A Casella met both criteria. We thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at A Casella particularly meeting other guests while tucking in to a great breakfast and dinner containing typical Corsican dishes. The medium sized self-contained room and bathroom on the upper level of the house was very comfortable. Cathy and Jean-Marc are active hosts interested in their guests. This B&B is in a small, hilltop village about 30 mins drive from St Florent. Jean-Marc and Cathy are delightful and friendly hosts. Our room was large and comfortable, with a state-of-the-art bathroom. Cathy is a terrific cook, and portions are generous. We stayed in Vallecalle for 2 days at the beggining of our holliday in Corsica. Hosts were really nice, with great advices for day trips. Breakfast in the terrace was faboulous and filled us with energy for the day. For people who want to explore Haute Corse great place to stay.
