Situated a few minutes from the A44 is the pretty village of Bretforton. We visited The Fleece Inn,a wonderful pub with bags of character and plenty of original features, beautiful beamed ceilings, old tiled floors etc....if i was marking this pub restaurant on its looks then it has to be up with the very best i have frequented. There was a wedding reception being... We were looking for somewhere for dinner on a Sunday evening when we were visiting the area and were getting rather anxious as so many places we looked at on Trip Advisor were closed. We had stopped in a small village to look at a nice looking pub, with a good review, and an elderly local man recommended the Fleece... More

Came to this highly recommended pub for a pint or two. The choices of ales and ciders was outstanding. The surroundings are incredible. This pub has been serving for 600 years and the building inside and out is a piece of living history.

I ate here for the first time today with my girlfriend, her family and our 3 dogs. It was the first time I had been to the area and the pub, but it was absolutely stunning. The pub is in a picture perfect village and must be hundreds of years old itself. We ended up sitting outside as it was... More

We had visited this wonderful old pub many years ago and were fascinated by the history of the pub and the collection of pewter. Shortly after we visited there was a fire. It was so lovely to return and see how well it has been restored. We sat outside and my husband was very happy with his beer

The quaintest pub we have visited. A very interesting history of the pub covered the walls of the pub. Wonderful experience of good food and excellent service in beautiful old English settings. Looking forward to going back to try something different on the menu. The pub was catering for a wedding at the time of arrival and we were welcomed... More

Staying a few miles away for work (for a week) and on the first night we discovered this amazing little pub. We received a friendly welcome and the drinks on offer superb. The cider is amazing, 4 still ciders and two sparkling - don't be afraid to ask for a small taster or to combine drinks, lots do!! Ask for... More

Called in at lunch time whilst on holiday in the area after seeing it in the good pub guide. Wasn't disappointed. Great choice of good real ales. The beef horseradish and beetroot sandwich was delicious. Great pub full of old world charm and some interesting artefacts. Staff were friendly and helpful couldn't ask for more

Stopped by for a quiet drink and lunch, but had a change of heart after 3 drinks (one being a glass of tap water) came to £9.95! Not the prices I would have expected for a small village pub. Plus the unkempt (mowed but messy) garden littered with caravans, cars and dog poo was a little off putting too!

We chose the Fleece as a good place to try local asparagus. We both had asparagus soup with bread. I think the taste has been bred out of modern asparagus - if I'd been blindfolded I wouldn't have know what flavour it was, but that isn't the fault of the pub, as the soup was good. I then had poached... More
